Definitely lives up to its reviews! This was our last meal during our stay in Lyon and even in a town renowned for its food, it was our favourite meal, although we admittedly aren’t fans of traditional French cuisine. We are, however, big fans of Lebanese food and Bayrouti handily took top spots for some of the best Lebanese dishes we’ve ever had. The halloumi was other worldly, the meat skewers were succulent, juicy and incredibly well seasoned, the tabouleh was fresh and packed an incredible citrus punch, and the falafels were generously sized and delicious. The service was fast and attentive. The restaurant was clean and attractive. Highly recommend this spot! The only thing is that the menu might be intimidating for anyone who doesn’t speak French / isn’t familiar with Lebanese dishes, but I’m sure your server would be happy to explain anything...
