I'm sorry to give a bad review, but this was the absolute worst gluten-free pizza I have ever had in my entire life, and I'm a senior citizen. OMG. I went on UberEats to find a GF pizza and was excited to see it was available here. I ordered the vegetarian with added olives and no cheese as there wasn't a vegan cheese option. I have NEVER had pizza "crust" like this. It's like a weird, soggy bread. Not a pizza crust. You can't hold a slice and eat like pizza. There is no resemblance to pizza crust. There were a lot of grilled veggies, for sure, but all I could taste was the yucky tomato sauce that smothered everything. What's up with all that sauce? So terrible. I love the taste of grilled vegetables and you couldn't taste them at all. So disgusting and a total waste of money. €28 something after tipping the driver. It is not edible. If there had been a white pizza option, perhaps I would have been able to taste the vegetables. Tip to the chefs: Go to Cappola in Lisbon and taste their GF pizza. THAT is decent GF pizza crust. Almost as good as what I've had in the States. Even the European chain, Totale Pizzeria is better than this -- their crust is not the greatest but doesn't fall apart like soggy sandwich bread. And of course, in Italy I've had delicious GF pizza many places. I'm very sorry to write such a terrible review but you can improve your...
Read moreThe three stars go specifically for the cook because the service is terrible. To begin, the waiter didn't even try when we asked if he speakes English (considering the place is in plain center and it's a touristic city, it was a negative point). We sat down outside and the table next to us was filled with pigeons eating the leftovers of the table that he cleaned around 30 minutes after. He left the menu and left and came back 15 minutes after to take the order. The pigeons were still there. We order a calzone and a 4 fromaggio with two coca colas. The glasses were all dirty, and considering that the waiter doesn't speak a language that I can actually use to communicate with him, I couldn't say anything so I just served my beverage in the less dirty one. The pizzas came, pigeons still there. After around 10 minutes he started picking the leftover food, and after a long while he finished actually cleaning. The only reason why we didn't left is because it was late and there were not too many places open. Otherwise, no chance. It's a boomer that the place has such amazing ideals and it shows that it was created with a lot of love, and because of the service all of that ends up in a second place. The pizzas were amazing. I think the best option is to order to take out...
Read moreStrange establishment. Hidden entrance to the tables that could be charming, but was not for us. We were greeted by a mere grunt from the chef when we said we had a reservation and otherwise were ignored, before subsequently being collected by waiting staff. Staff not most welcoming generally. Food was good, it’s only saving grace. Asked to pay at the table via QR code as soon as we declined dessert, fine. Except then as soon as we’d done that we were asked to leave by our waiter - despite only having been in the place for 1h10 and all still with half full wine glasses from the bottle ordered with dinner. He “graciously” let us stay for up to an extra 10 minutes to finish our drinks, but let’s say we were funnily enough quite happy to get away from there asap after that interaction. Our only regret is tipping - maybe should have asked for a refund but just wanted out of there at that point. So in summary; food good, service awful. Would maybe return for a takeout pizza but certainly not to...
