We had a fantastic evening at Chez Marinette and couldn’t have been more impressed. The vibe was warm and inviting, with a cozy atmosphere that made for a perfect dining experience. From start to finish, the service was exceptional—despite handling the entire restaurant on her own, our waitress was incredibly efficient, friendly, and attentive, making sure everything ran smoothly.

As for the food, it was absolutely delicious. We ordered the Cod, truffle risotto, and steak with fries, and each dish was well-executed and full of flavor. The Cod was the clear standout—cooked to perfection with a beautifully balanced sauce that elevated the dish. The truffle risotto was rich and creamy, and the steak and fries were cooked just right, making for a satisfying and well-rounded meal.

Between the great food, amazing service, and welcoming atmosphere, Chez Marinette is a place we’ll definitely be returning to. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable meal...

Waited for way too long ( we were there for over 2 hours almost only waiting) for the menu and our drinks. We ordered two entrés and I got the salad as a vegetarian which was super small - definitely not the size of a main dish. It was also 19 euros! I was still hungry afterwards. My friends were also not impressed with the food - the steak came with couscous instead of risotto.

The wine was terrible.

We gave our feedback to the owner and he said it’s the first time they get bad feedback and didn’t do anything to accommodate us. Wonderful Corsican food away from the busy tourist area. 👌 Great welcome and service. Thanks again to the staff for a lovely dinner. 🙏🏼🙌👏 The restaurant is charmingly decorated inside. We had the artisanal beer (white) and the Corsican rose wine. The home made butter that comes with the starter cold cuts is very good! We both took the octopus for main and it was really really delicious and special. Certainly a recommendation for antigens visiting Marseilles.
