Where should I even begin. I was just robbed 200 euros. I ate a piece of tofu and a dessert, both of which you could not pay me to eat again. This is a set menu with no options to choose from which would’ve been nice to know in the beginning. We were seated and waited about 15 minutes for a menu to arrive and then when food started coming and I said will we get a menu? And they acted as though it was insane that we wanted to know what we were about to eat. No one asked us any questions or informed us anything about the restaurant so we had no idea what was happening. After waiting for a while, finally courses started showing up, and I was vegetarian which no one even asked me about beforehand. there were no options for vegetarians, so they made the dishes that were on the regular menu but without any of the protein or main parts of the dishes and charged us for the main menu. The food was terrible and the staff saw that I didn’t even touch any of my food, yet they didn’t say a word about it, didn’t ask us how the meal was once and never even checked. I’m not even vegetarian but I don’t eat shellfish or veal which were on the menu. For these prices the staff usually has some interest if the customer hasn’t touched their food. They also never told me what they were making for me instead when I asked to see the menu and said I was vegetarian - they just walked away and then presented the dish with essentially some beans for the main course on top of mashed beans and a fried mushroom ball for my second main that was so strongly spiced with nothing else it left me with a terrible stomach ache. I Would not recommend. What a disappointing meal. Had to go to dinner right after. My husband also had the regular meal and did not like any of his food either. No taste of Congo whatsoever just lots of cumin and random...
Read moreThe atmosphere inside is cosy and intimate, without being stuffy or self-seriously overbearing.
The menu offers 7 different dishes, well more like 6+1 as the last one is basically a small cookie.
The dishes served are always a pleasure to look at and a lot is put into making them as aesthetically pleasing as possible. The food is exquisite. Even if some of the spices/tastes used are familiar, the combinations in which they're used always end up resulting in something new and surprising, so it's a nice process of discovery.
The service is excellent. From the pleasant welcome to the comprehensive descriptions of the food and actual service. The waiter/waitresses with their kindness, mindfulness and pleasant attitude enhance the ambience of the place so the end result is a very memorable experience. The stream of food is very well timed, so you can eat, have some time to talk then eat again. When I looked at my watch, after the 4th dish, we were shocked at how much time had passed.
The restaurant also communicates very well. I had some questions before booking and despite sending my mail late at night, I got a reply within an hour.
There's also an offer of cheese, which is extra. I would recommend trying out the cheese as it was delicious.

Read moreI have a few points of criticism, but the dishes and wines were so delicious that I still want to give a 5-star rating. In my opinion, the menu is underpriced - you get more than you’d expect for €75. The spiciness and the unique use of herbs (compared to classic French cuisine) are fantastic.
So, what could be improved? One waiter seemed unsure and hesitant when asked about a dish. When I asked the sommelier for a wine recommendation, they immediately poured a full glass without offering a taste first (this happened twice). The website advertises 7 courses, but the dinner consisted of 5 courses plus amuses. I had enough to eat, but it’s about setting the right expectations.
In short: The food is outstanding and deserves a slightly more polished service and...
