On a recent two week trip to Europe, this was one of our top 3 meals. This is a cozy restaurant and not pretentious in any way. The staff was helpful, in English, and the food was outstanding. Great wine was a GREAT price and encouraged extra bottles for our table. Four at our table ordered pigeon, sweetbreads, rabbit and some pasta dish(why!?). Any of the first three dishes would have been reported by me as a triumph. One of the best parts of this was that, if one is willing to walk three extra blocks in Marseilles, one can escape the food tuned to tourism and eat with the locals in an approachable venue.
