EXCELLENT lunch today!!! We (tourists) were done with sightseeing, and were walking along the waterfront looking to eat some local bouillabaise. Le New Terrasse looked inviting, with the pictures of some of the dishes outside, and with the blue chairs (to go with color of the waters of the sea). We decided to give it a try.

What a fantastic decision! The food was fantastic! We had the bouillabaise, and mussels with red sauce, and a rose wine. Perfect lunch for a hot afternoon. Both the dishes was delicious, and the portions were huge (and I'm not one who says that often; look at the pictures to get an idea (I've shown a finger tip in one to get a reference)). It took some effort for us to finish it, but being as delicious as it was, it was well worth the effort. The wine was a nice refresher in between the mouthfuls of fish & mussels I was shoveling down.

The server who helped us was OUTSTANDING! She was a young lady (I don't want to mess up her name), and attended to all our requests immediately. Smiling all the time, which helped us have a good experience too.

Prices were very moderate too. We were surprised how reasonable they were (as we were thinking how much this would have cost back in the States!).

The one issue was that the large floor-standing fan was not rotating all around, so that could be improved (as it was really hot).

Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant. Fabulous food, great service, and very moderate prices -...

I have just left this restaurant and had to leave. We had been waiting over an hour for food for lunch. We were not the only people this happened to. We saw 3 tables walk out before we did. We tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. We called over the waiter who apologised and said he has spoken to the man in charge. Still nothing was done the waiter even suggested going to find the man myself. I went to find him. Eventually found out that ours and many others orders weren't even put through and this had not been picked up on. I have no idea how this happened but the fact they could not see that at least 3 tables had no food on and no one even checked in with us. It was utter chaos people who were lucky enough to receive their food had the waiters walk round to different tables asking if it was their orders. They had no idea who ordered what. We waisted over an hour of our day. We are tourists and only here for a day this massively effected our time here as we have now had to find a different restaurant... we are now hungy and sunburnt from sitting for so long outside. I understand mistakes came happen but the way it was handled was awful. Couldn't run a bath let alone...

Visited Brasserie New Terrasse recently and was really content by their offerings. The Moules (mussels) and fries were a delightful pairing, with each bite exuding freshness and a delectable taste. Similarly, the dorade menu didn't disappoint, with a really well grilled fresh dorade presenting flavors that were both rich and pleasing to the palate and easy to eat. A special shoutout to their virgin mojito — it was refreshingly excellent, striking the right balance between zesty and sweet. Considering the good price-quality ratio and the commitment to using fresh ingredients, swift and kind service, I'd highly recommend this spot. Just a tip: it's best enjoyed when it's not too crowded. Cheers to a wonderful...

I can’t understand people who go to Marseille and order Pizza or Pasta within a Brasserie. Those ratings are worthless. I had a good beef with fries and nothing to complain about. There are surely better out there but it was ok. The Pastis as an aperitif was good, the white wine was average. Also the complaints about longer waiting times are not understandable. Even if you have to wait - you are in France! And when you are there you have to get along with the fact that not everyone wants to be a part of your schedule. I personally liked the waiter since he dealt with the customers in several languages. A good place but not very fancy. Nothing special but also not as bad as some people like to tell you.
