As we were walking past on Sunday we saw that the restaurant was busy, it looked very popular, but then again on a rugby weekend with dozens of tourists and rugby supporters you'd expect any restaurant or bar to be busy or there must be something wrong. We were seated quite quickly and then it took around ten minutes for our menus to arrive. We ordered after a further ten to fifteen minutes. Two steaks, quite simple dishes you'd have thought. After 40 minutes we asked where our meals were; the reply was "soon". After an hour still nothing, after 70 minutes still nothing. Despite repeatedly asking, our meals did not appear. The staff just didn't care, they brushed us off. So whenever anyone sat near us we told them not to bother and politely informed them of our tale of woe. After the best part of 90 minutes we got up, paid for our drinks and left. Not even an apology. So we never got to taste the food, the drinks were average. The location is good, right on the quai side but the service was terrible and I'd say avoid it.

One star is really too much... pass by, there are coming many more nice restaurants... We had a „bouillabaisse“ for 2 Persons for over 80 €. The soup was not tasty, the fish bad quality and half cold, another waiter brought us a second plate for the shelf. After finishing the bad meal the waiter asked me if it was good and i replied „not really“. She was offended and took the plate, but „forgot“ to clean the table and left us for 30 minutes with the dirty table, which i cleaned myself a bit. Desinterested staff while restaurant was almost empty. My friend ordered a pastisse and it usually comes with water. She brought it without water and he was told to take a new bottle of water we had to pay extra. Not even the charme of a tourist trap, really dissapointing. See the other reviews here as well...

DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE!

Today, 1st of August 2019, we were clients of this restaurant and we had a very bad experience...

The staff was slow and incompetent (do not know how to serve the wine, bring closed Sweppes bottle and never come back to open it, does not ask if we need anything or how is the food, etc.). The food was brought to the table earlier than we were able to drink our "apéro" (glass of wine), since the waitress came to open the bottle too late. The food was not good but since we were hungry, we ate. The bottle of Rosé was warm. Once we finished eating, the plates stayed on the table until we paid and left the place... Since we expressed some reservations upon the payment, they removed one "Kid Menu" from the final receipt (the kid was not able to eat the dessert as the staff was too slow, incompetent and not interested to offer anything, even though it should have been automatic).

The gentleman who was handling the payment process was impolite, but even worse, when he asked us "what was not good?" and we wanted to explain, even before we were able to do so, he started to shout at us and so we...

Just got back from here. The food was overpriced and totally unpalatable. The presentation was disgusting - a five year-old must have plated it. We wanted to pay by card but they would only accept cash (weird considering it’s in a tourist area), and so we - several guests at once - had to trek upstairs to Le Panier (escorted by one of their hulking waitstaff) to withdraw cash. I wanted to run away without paying, because I actually felt justified that it was the right thing to do after such criminally bad food. I did not, however. I understand that all the restaurants there are tourist traps but this is another level of low. I would rather have eaten a boiled potato with butter than the Normandy sole I ordered. Please heed this when you read this and never go near spitting distance of this place. Waitstaff wasn’t rude but they were totally phoning it in. I wish the local government would investigate them for ripping tourists off. I cant sleep thinking I got cheated out of 75 Euros for some disgusting food. More the fool you if you have read this and still gone there to eat. And foolish me, who didn’t check the reviews before...
