Same Same Beach — Restaurant in Marseille

The location is amazing, next to beautiful beach, but unfortunately it's the only advantage of this place... Waiters are very unfriendly, we were waiting about 30 minutes for 2 glasses of wine! We asked 2 different waiters for the service, but we were ignored each time. After about 20 minutes one of them asked us for switching the chairs with no reason, because no one wanted to sit there... Waiters were laughting with a bartender instead taking care od our order which would take them 1 minute! We think that all of this was because we only wanted to order drink and they treat better people who order something to eat... We were treated as worse sort of clients... After wasting 30 minutes of our time we decided to leave this place with a very bad impression... I can see that the other people had similar expierience with this place, I'm suprised that the owner allows their stuff for such behaviour... This place has very good potential and it's a shame that such employees...

Unfortunately for all the residents and tourists in Cassis, the same same beach bar has the owner that it does. We saw the reviews but were thinking of grabbing a drink. Before we left the beach same same started playing obnoxiously loud music. The police were called and did nothing. The music also made out balcony at the hotel across the road unbearable. By the way a bit softer and there's no issue (actually there's ironically a sign that says you can't play music on the beach). We eventually went to get a take away beer from there. The owner was drunk (now we've moved on from auto tuned pop to club techno) and as rude as you could imagine. We ordered 2x 1664 and received 2 coronas with spirits and sugar (beer for people who just hate beer). Didn't have food any food so can't comment, I just hope the owners sells place and opens up a dodgy nightclub literally anywhere but this otherwise...

Bonjour, je souhaiterai partager avec vous mon expérience laissant à désirer, dans ce restaurant.

Tout d’abord j’avais voulu réservé pour l’anniversaire de ma mère mais les serveurs m’avait indiqué qu’ils ne prenaient pas de réservation, jusqu’ici tout été compréhensible. Une fois le jour de l’événement, nous sommes arrivé à 2 en attendant que le reste du groupe nous rejoigne car il garait la voiture. Une jolie table avait attirée mon attention car il faut se l’avouer l’établissement a une jolie décoration, bien que ce soit la seule chose qui l’ait. Un premier serveur nous a indiqué que nous devions patienter en terrasse le temps que le reste du groupe nous rejoigne et que nous serions installés à table à ce moment-là. Peu de temps après un second serveur, que vous reconnaîtrez par son ego surdimensionné, vient nous voir en nous demandant ce que nous souhaitons consommer. Je lui explique donc que nous attendons et que nous consommerons à table. Celui-ci n’a guère apprécié et nous a fait comprendre qu’il fallait consommer pour passer en priorité. Nous retrouvant donc dans l’obligation de consommer, j’ai décidé de prendre une grenadine. Ce à quoi il m’a répondu « si vous commencez comme ça vous allez attendre un moment ». Comme si sa présence n’était pas déjà insupportable, il a ajouté lorsque mon compagnon a commandé un mojito: « voilà quelqu’un qui fait les bons choix », cela peut-être lui plaisait il plus? En tout cas, il fallait consommer ce que Monsieur souhaitait ! Le supplice c’est arrêté à la consommation de ces 2 verres, que nous n’aurions même pas dû réglés au vu des circonstances dans lesquelles ils ont été commandé. Je vous conseille donc de passer votre chemin devant cet établissement qui, bien que très joli, ne vous apportera que déceptions, notamment si vous ne souhaitez pas consommer ce qu’à décidé le serveur. N’oubliez pas que dans la vie tout ce qui est beau n’est pas forcément bon.

En revanche je vous recommande un super restaurant sur le port de Cassis: LA POISSONNERIE DE LAURENT.
