Cassis Hostel — Hotel in Marseille

A lovely friendly little hostel situated 5 min walk into town. The owner and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The pool area is beautiful and the feel of the place is lovely. The breakfast was great and the beds were comfortable.|The reason for only 4 stars is down to having the worst sleep due to there being no air con and no fans, I woke up dripping of sweat and actually only slept due to having no sleep the previous 2 nights otherwise I cant imagine I'd of slept at all.|Also the shower/bathroom is not private at all, infact I'm quite certain the man in the room saw me shower as the piece of fabric used as a door only covers half the door, this made me feel really uncomfortable and I had to put on my bikini.|Other than this, this place is definatly worth a visit and I would highly recommend.|Thanks for...

We loved everything in this hostel ... the terrace with the wonderful view to the sea ... the warm atmosphere in the big shared living room ... meeting interesting people from all over the world ... the kitchen with everything you need... the location near the port and last but not least the very helpful and friendly owner of the hostel, Sophie, and her staff. We had some trouble at the Gare St. Charles and we were arriving late but Sophie solved all our problems. Thanks a lot again, Sophie. So we could really enjoy our days in Cassis!||Of course Cassis and it's surroundings are also worth being visited, especially our hiking tours to the Calanques and towards Cap Canaille and an evening out in the restaurant "a table" will stay unforgettable.||I wish we'll be back to Cassis...

Cassis Hostel is definitely (“maybe”) the coolest place to stay in Cassis for any open-minded traveler. This big family house is 5 min walk from the port and 10 min from the calanques. There are a few dormitories and private rooms. Sheets and basic breakfast included. WiFi of course. Lovely garden with a large terrace and a great swimming pool. A wonderful view on the Cap Canaille. It’s incredibly quiet. No traffic around. But the finest point of the hostel is the cheerful staff and the marvelous atmosphere between the guests. You can simply improvise a walk in the calanques or on top of the Cap Canaille to enjoy the sunset, or share a dinner and party all night around the pool with people you hardly know.
