The worst experience ever. We were a group of 25 international university employees, having a pre-ordered dinner in this restaurant after a long working day. We arrived at 8pm, the drinks was served at 8:45. The staff was incredibly slow, not responsive to our request for bread or more water. The first course took over an hour to be served, the vegetarian option never arrived together with the other options. The highlight was the waitress screaming at one of the guests, because she wanted a vegetarian starter and a "normal" main dish. The waitress refused to give her the fish as main course and told her, to eat the vegetarian option or nothing. At 10:15pm people started leaving because there were no drinks served anymore, and the requests for it ignored while waiting for the dessert. One of the guests even needed to drink his own water, as he asked three times for another bottle of water. The dessert finally was served at 22:45, a cold cooked apple with some cream, no reason why it took them nearly another hour after the main course to serve it. I worked in service myself for some 10 years, and this was totally unacceptable. Horrible and rude service, extremely slow and not responsive to our complaints. I would not recommend it to anyone and I hope the manager realises that serving a group in this manner is absolutely humiliating...

I read the other reviews and find it strange that my experience was so different ... the interior is beautiful. The food was more than satisfactory, and the pricing was competitive for Montpellier, yet I still experienced a weird dissonance throughout the entire meal. I'd have to say it was the service. While not exactly poor, it was mechanical, as if I was a item to be handled rather than a diner enjoying a night out. While my partner and I were deciding which table to choose, a server asked us if we were fighting. I think it was a joke? Though it would come quickly, absolutely everything needed to be requested - I'm surprised I didn't have to ask for a fork. In the middle of the meal someone wordlessly arrived, re-arranged the candles on the table, switching ours with the ones from another table, and then they left. Made us feel like we weren't even there. I requested bread and two small pieces arrived in a paper bag. That was really weird since this place looks much nicer than a bread-in-a-paper-bag place. But ... YMMV. You might love it. For me, there are a thousand other restaurants in Montpellier. I'll give those a try before coming back...

Très déçu… Je suis venu dimanche soir pour faire un anniversaire surprise à mes deux amies, j’étais venu 1 semaine a l’avance sur place pour réserver une table vu qu’on aller être plusieurs, je vois sur Google, le site web et même l’enseigne du bar qu’ils ouvraient a 18h, donc je réserve pour 18h. Le jour j est là déjà stressé de l’organisation j’arrive et le restaurant est fermé, moi ayant emmener des gâteaux je devais impérativement les mettre au frais on les a donc déposé au bar à côté. On attend et là les invités commencent à arriver donc vous vous doutez bien que la surprise était gâché… Je les contact a 18h15 sur Instagram et là on me dit que c’est impossible que j’ai pu réserver a 18h car ils ouvrent a 19h et qu’ils ne seraient pas là avant 18h45. On attend donc et les personnes arrivent bien à 18h45 mais rien ne se fait on se fait donc installer à 19h passer sans table dressée, même si le service commence à 19h je suis désolé mais les tables doivent être dressée à l’avance pour que tout soit prêt pour accueillir la clientèle. On s’installe service déplorable par un serveur pas du tout souriant et méprisant ( si il ne voulait pas travailler il aurait fallut poser des congés payés ), celui ci me dit je cite « ça fait des années que je travaille là et on a toujours commencé a 19h donc je ne vois pas comment c’est possible qu’on vous ai pris votre réservation a 18h » donc le restaurant et lui même sous entend que tout est entièrement de ma faute et que j’ai dû mal comprend, je rêve !!! Heureusement que les tapas étaient bonnes et le vin aussi on a pu passer un bon moment tous ensemble malgré tout cela d’où les 2 étoiles mais pas une de plus. Monsieur le propriétaire changer vos horaires sur vos enseignes et réseaux sociaux car les seuls fautifs ici c’est vous et non moi qui m’était déplacé exprès pour tout organiser comme il se doit, de plus vu les autres commentaires il serai peut être temps de changer votre personnel, les serveurs désagréables et méprisants ne doivent même pas exister dans le monde de la restauration. Je ne reviendrai pas, dommage car votre établissement a du potentiel. Bonne...
