We chose this restaurant last minute on our way back from Paris through to Calais, We had a small time frame as we needed to catch the Eurotunnel back! The waitress was very accommodating for us and the situation and still made our last moments in France unforgettable with her friendly and knowledgeable service. The food was spectacular, each dish had incredible flavours which all complimented each other to perfection! All ingredients cooked perfectly! There is nothing to fault! This place should definitely be in the Michelin guide or get a proper star. The prices were not that expensive. The food was so flavourful. I had the tuna tartar with mango which was tantalising and unique and the duck was amazing. My mate had the steak and omg the flavour of it was delicious too! The deserts are creamy and the wine just flowed. The service was perfect. It's a small restaurant and the limited menu may put you off but it just means they put some much care to each dish. Lovely dinner at Les 2 Monieaux and very reasonably priced. The beef tenderloin was perfectly cooked and the ratatouille was beautiful.
