Pizzeria L'Aventure — Restaurant in Nîmes

Terrible and detestable from beginning till end. Unfriendly and rude waiter, he told us in very bad maners we would have to wait a bit to be served. We sit down and the first thing we realise is the dirty cutlery. We tell him and he puts the dirty forks and knives on his rear pocket... I do only order a main course: tagliatelle 4 Fromagio. After waiting more than one hour, I get a fatty dough which was for sure several times reheated, with a paste of unrecognizable appearance on top (I assume that was the 'cheese') , oily and completely tasteless. After trying that disgusting mass I gave up and left the whole plate uneaten, since I don't want to start puking right after. The only way I can describe it is detestable. When the owner comes (I assume the waiter didn't want to face me) and picks up the dishes, I tell her, in my best french possible, that the food was awful. She even tries to justify and defend the dish, but without convincing. I know what means disgusting. After that she even tries to sell us a coffee or a dessert. No way! I ask for the bill, which amounts up to an incredibly 46€! I pay really in anger and trying to avoid making a scene I leave this hell's restaurant. My advice: call the chef Ramsay. Maybe he has a possibility to save such a terrible business. Never...

On a hot August day, as the rest of my party argued in English about which place to eat, my daughter asked me if she could eat Pizza. I walked up to the restaurant, asked if they could serve us a Margarita Pizza, and by the time the rest of my party picked another restaurant a few minutes later... we were eating delicious pizza :)

Pizza was Very Good - my only quibble was that the crust wasn't quite like a real Italian pizza (didn't have the "bite") - but otherwise very good. Staff was very prompt...

Assez déçue, heureusement que les pizzas sont bonnes, même si elles ne sont pas assez garnies au vu du prix. Nous souhaitions manger en amoureux au restaurant, le week-end du 15 Août, en sachant que tous les restaurants seraient pleins. On nous annonce 20-30 minutes d'attente à notre arrivée. Arrivée à 14h, commande des boissons prises à 15h et pizzas servies à 15h30.

Il y a un manque cruel d'organisation, dommage pour un week-end que tout le monde sait chargé (sauf eux il semblerait) ! Ils peuvent être à 3 serveurs pour 1 table, pendant qu'une autre table attend pendant 1h ...

Serveuse très très gentille, la pauvre elle est toute seule pour TOUT faire (prendre les commandes, servir, débarrasser, envoyer les assiettes au lavage ...) et toujours avec le sourire et la gentillesse, pendant que la patronne passe son temps sur la tablette à essayer de mémoriser les n° de tables, elle commence quelque chose mais ne fini pas et laisse en plan en demandant à sa collègue de finir (alors qu'elle est déjà bien occupée !), pas du tout professionnel !!

On a aussi vu des plats arrivaient, mais comme les commandes ne sont pas prises comme il faut, ils ne savent pas à qui sont destinés les pizzas, du coup elles restent sur le bar en attendant que quelqu'un réclame ..

Nous avons vu un couple arriver après nous, manger et partir bien...
