High quality products in a charming shop. Good variety. Historical feeling to the place. I was intrigued after shopping and did some background reading online. Very interesting history.

Excuse the following rant but …Many of the negative reviews I am reading here make me sad for the state of society and a bit angry actually. I find them exaggerated, disrespectful and uninformed. Not to be condescending, but they are most likely written by people that have an entitled attitude to begin with and would be better off shopping at a large scale business where disenfranchised employees are held to high standards of « customer service ».

We had a pleasant experience in the shop. I learned from the website that shopkeepers we met there are the owners (and one is a descendant of family that founded the business long ago). The gentleman was very sweet, welcoming and lovely. The lady was professional and courteous.

J'ai fait un court séjour à Nancy et suis arrivé un dimanche. C'est la première confiserie (seule ouverte?) que j'ai visité pour gouter une première fois aux macarons de Nancy. C'est une boutique traditionnelle avec beaucoup de choix. Une mamie nous a accueilli. J'ai acheté ensuite des macarons de Nancy à deux autres endroits dont ceux des 2 soeurs. J'ai trouvé ceux de cette confiserie bien meilleurs pour les macarons de Nancy classiques (amandes). Ils étaient plus frais et plus gros. Ceux achetés en boulangerie et à l'office du tourisme étaient petits, secs et sous plastique. J'ai du payer 9€ les 12. J'y suis retourner deux fois. C'était une femme plus jeune la dernière fois. Comme les deux fois précédentes l'accueil était courtois et mes questions trouvaient des réponses. Il n'y avait qu'un paquet de 12 macarons et j'en voulais deux. Ça n'a pris qu'une minute et deuw tiurs de main pour m'en faire un autre. Moi je dis ne changez rien. Je préfère largement l'authenticité et le traditionnel à un sourire de façade qui me vends avec un "bonne degustation!" des macarons industriels...
