Café Joyeux — Restaurant in Nantes

We happened to visit drawn in by the yellow facade. Really sweet and nice. Great concept, which we only realised after looking at the paintings, pictures around. There was a lady able to help us with our poor English to French translation.

Croque Monsuer was very nice, with a nice vinaigrette on the seeded salad. Paired with lemon juice and two cakes, one chocolate muffin and one walnut/pecan loaf slice. All were lovely!

Service was also super quick too, politeness as well...

After getting sorted in our Hotel we found the near by Café Joyeux a delightful first breakfast stop. It was also our last dinner stop. The food was great but the assistance, hospitality and friendliness of all the staff was way above expectations and for that alone we would award 10 stars if we could. Absolutely wonderful place. Very strongly recommended. I came here with my friend yesterday on a weekend trip to Nantes and we were both enormously impressed with the food and the atmosphere. The staff are diligent, the lady who took our order could not have been more helpful, and the food itself is utterly superb and outstanding value. Merci...
