Dubrown — Restaurant in Nantes

Now this is what I call a family restaurant. I came here from abroad with my wife and kid, and we actually had the best burger experience we haven't had in years in the EU.

Service : more than professional. And also, we were served before the official opening hour.

Food : Go. You have to try the Coleslaw after the Cheeseburger, the mix of both on the palate is crazy good. Minimalist menu, always a good sign. Best french fries we have had in years "Belgian style."

Atmosphere : Music connoisseurs won't be deceived, and the volume is mixed perfectly. You can hear yourselves speaking to each other while having the perfect amount of intimacy.

We were able to change our baby safely without any fuss. What a nice guy Gauvin is. Very funny guy also ! Very "frenchie" 😅, a lovely lovely welcome to Nantes/France.

Gluten allergics like my Italian wife can have any Item on the menu in a Gluten-free...

One of the finest burger joints in town, with a limited but perfectly well thought-off menu. Every item, from the maple-glazed bacon to pecan pie, is imaginative in its own way and well designed. Even the one and only chicken burger on the menu challenges those in specialized restaurants in town.

The front of house staff is particularly nice and professional, taking the time to chat with all customers.

My only complaint would concent the rather small portion of fries for the price.

Très déçue par l’accueil de l’un des serveurs, pas de sourire… Dès notre arrivée, nous aurions dû repartir, mais nous sommes restés pour la bonne réputation des burgers qu’on avait testé auparavant. Bémol, et mention spéciale pour ce serveur, qui ne voulait tout simplement pas faire d’efforts. J’ai demandais un table, pas possible, plutôt les chaises hautes… j’ai relancé en voyant une table qui s’est libérée, il m’a dit euh déjà attribuée… une autre qui était libre … elle est réservée ! Franchement pas commercial du tout, pas cool. On est des clients et le burger n’est pas donné ! J’ai vraiment passé un mauvais moment, le burger végétarien était très salé et il y avait trop d’aliments( aubergines , courgettes, fromage de chèvre, pesto, galette falafel et sauce tomate ). Mon conjoint a apprécié le sien qui était très bon. Le cerise sur le gâteau et ce qui est vexant c’est que cette fameuse table réservée est restée vide inoccupée à notre arrivée, pendant notre repas et après notre départ.
