GRAZIELLA — Restaurant in Nantes

We had a great dinner here on a cold and rainy Sunday night! I would say Graziella serves some of the best pizza in the Nantes area, especially if you're looking for Napoletano-esque pizza. The prices are the most enticing thing about this place next to their eclectic bright decor. For those who do not like a lot of crust, probably not gonna be your favorite place, but get past it cause everything else is great. I had the Salsiccia e Friarielli and was surprised at how well the friarielli worked on a pizza, the sausage was definitely the highlight. Nous sommes dimanche, je me présente à l’endroit indiqué devant l’entrée du restaurant « Patientez ici ». Je dis que j’ai repéré une table, on ne m’y accompagne pas et on me tend la carte, je vais m’installé tout seul. La terrasse est moitié remplie Je suis arrivé à 13h10, j’attends, j’attends, et j’attends encore. J’essaye de capter le regard d’un serveur qui aurait la présence d’esprit de balayer du regard sa terrasse pour voir si quelqu’un est demandeur, c’est la base. Je fais signe à un serveur, nos regards se croisent, il me voit, il ne viendra jamais à ma table. Je prends mon mal en patience et au bout de 15 minutes je trouve que c’est trop mais je patiente encore. A 13h31, soit au bout de 20 minutes, je me lève et je pars sans que personne ne soit venu à ma table. Vous méritez pleinement cet avis négatif.

13h35, j’arrive devant une autre pizzeria du quartier, « La Vespa des Carmes » pour ne pas la nommer, je n’ai jamais testé, vous avez provoqué l’occasion ! Du coup je regarde de nouveau ma montre pour comparer objectivement. La terrasse est aussi moitié remplie. [ ] 13h38 je commande. [ ] 13h42 j’ai ma bière et on demande s’ils peuvent envoyer la préparation de la pizza en cuisine, très pro ! [ ] 13h50 la pizza est servie. [ ] J’ai passé un bon moment, très bon service, la pizza est bonne. [ ] J’ai laissé 3€ de pourboire, c’est amplement mérité. [ ] Par ailleurs, la bonne qualité du service peut pallier à un repas moyen en qualité et un service moyen peut être pallié par une bonne qualité des produits. [ ] Bref, un rappel des fondamentaux à votre équipe serait une bonne chose.

went on a solo trip as an english-speaker. it was easy to find, a very scenic and beautiful atmosphere. everyone was friendly and understanding, some of the staff speak english and service was generally good overall regardless.
