MAKI BURGER — Restaurant in Nantes

The Caribbean Burger is the most delicious burger that I have ever tasted. It was so juicy and tender, with just the right hint of curry flavour and the combo with the other ingredients was really interesting layering (I asked for the lettuce, etc. to be substituted for marinated peppers). The fried plaintains were cooked perfectly to exactly how we do it in the Caribbean. The burger and plantains cost 7 euros -- I could not believe that I received such large portions for such high quality food for such a good price, especially considering the central location of the restaurant. Most importantly, the staff were so incredibly kind and courteous. The restaurant is very small and modest, but it absolutely should not be overlooked -- it is bursting of great food and warm people. I was visiting Nantes for 2 days and wished I could have packed some burgers with me to bring back home. Thank you...

One of the best place in Nantes to have a burger in. Affordable, original and sooo good. It's a fusion restaurant with African inspired burgers. They also sell sweet potatoes French fries which are alone one of the main reason you should go to Maki Burger. Here we can feel that the owner of the place really puts all his efforts into making his restaurant work and the staff is therefor nice, smiling and patient. Because of its beginning succes, the restaurant can be a bit overcrowded at times (Saturday night especially) but it's worth the wait (just be nice to the very nice waitress that's doing her best to make everyone...

Ok, best Burger I've had in Nantes. First African styled burger I ever have and I LOVED it. Just wow, peanut sauce hamburger is truly delicious! I've been there with my GF and she said it's the best VEGETARIAN burger she ever had!

The vegetables plantaon are cut by the chef at the order so it is as fresh as can be! The chef was also super nice and during the hour we were there there were a lot of frequent customers coming by for an order and to chat. A really good mood in that restaurant!
