I was very impressed with their citron confi bread cube, with bits of lemon preserve inside, absolutely delicious, also very much liked the croissants and pain au chocolate. Best I've had in a long time. On the other hand, I'm quite disappointed with the pain d'épeautre (spelt bread), sold by weight, and that's perhaps why it's so heavy & moist...Have not been leavened enough so not airy. Have been trying to get through it slowely. Just one slice ( cut on the store bread cutter) weighs 60 grams, and that after it's been toasted! So one slice is more than enough as it sits heavily in the stomach. So, overall experience very positive, save that one...

Over the course of a few visits with my family I sampled the croissants, pain au chocolate, the croissant filled with pistachio custard - that is out of this world and probably worth a visit to Menton for by itself, a kinder doughnut and some bread.    Read moreThe breadsticks "ficelles apertifs" are some of the best savory breadsticks in the area. I would totally recommend the cheese or chorizo. The artisan bread had a dark, caramel crust that has such a rich flavor. One of the best white breads in the area.
For sweets: The croissant filled with creme was particularly filled with cream and absolutely wonderful. Also, if Flan is your thing they have one of the best versions of it...
