Bouddha Beach — Restaurant in Nice

We decided to have dinner along the foreshore. Found Bouddha Beach with their kitchen open until 8pm. We ordered Cesar Salad and Calzone, no drinks. We only wanted food and we were made to feel a bit off not having a drink. Food arrived in about 20minutes. Salad was nice, the calzone had little filling with nothing on the edges and the egg a little raw.

We were asked if we would like desert or coffee and after responding no that was all the waiter took 10minutes to come with the bill and only did once we asked and the man walked off and made a mocking comment. The lady who returned for us to pay was nice and friendly, but overall it was not a nice...

Not even one star! Bad quality food, the prices on the menu were different to the ones on a piece of paper that they gave us as ‘an invoice’. The waiter also took the money without giving back the rest of the money and considered it a tip without us saying. The big beer on the menu had a price of 6€. The waiter put a price of 8,5€ and since I can speak Italian, I heard him and another waiter discuss what price would they give us. Horrible experience. Il locale è sul lungomare, bella location, si salva solo per quella. Sconsiglio di visitare questo locale gestito da italiani molto antipatici, che purtroppo non fanno assolutamente onore al nostro bel paese. Al servizio darei 0 stelle se possibile, alla gentilezza del personale -10 stelle. Camerieri assolutamente scortesi, soprattutto con gli stranieri (io me la sono "cavata" essendo italiana). Prezzi alti giustificati solo dalla location, cibo assolutamente nella media. Una caprese striminzita, una mozzarellina di 5cm di diametro, una roba che in Italia non si sognerebbero mai di servire. Battute sgradevoli e allusioni ancor più sgradevoli verso i clienti venuti solo per un caffè (che non spendevano un po di soldi), che neanche venivano calcolati. Un servizio inesistente, per avere un cameriere ci son voluti 20 minuti ogni volta, partanto non era neanche affollato. Se ti lamenti o ti inventi a contestare o a alzare il braccio per farti vedere, ti attaccano bollandoti da rompi scatole che anche se "non ha niente da fare" si permette di alzare il braccio invece di aspettare che si degnino di venire a vedere se sei vivo. Nell'ora e mezzo in cui siamo rimasti ho visto 3 o 4 coppie di persone alzarsi e andarsene senza aver consumato. Commenti sgradevoli a iosa per tutto il tempo. Non so come abbiamo fatto a resistere. Non avevo neanche il coraggio di replicare per paura di causare una scenata. La peggior esperienza di ristorazione che abbia mai fatto. Consiglio a questi " signori" di cambiare mestiere al più presto. Non so chi abbia potuto mettere 5/5, forse hanno cambiato gestione. FUGGITE A GAMBE...
