Edwige Coffee — Restaurant in Nice

New owner now. I was a fan with this coffee shop, it was used to be hip and chic, had indie music, friendly service and great muffins and drinks.. But now... The waitress or server was sitting next to me sorting cutleries.. This only happens while you are in cheap eat local places in Asia.. Three people working inside but none of them welcome me while I entered the cafe.. After I ordered my drink with two different people two times, waited for another 20 mins. When I told the madam that I needed to cancel the drink because I was in hurry. She just simply shouted "putain".. Seriously she didn't even make it yet.. This is unacceptable totally for this kind of service nowadays, especially you are located in the town center....

Please visit this sweet little cafe if you are in Menton. We stumbled upon this little gem in the heat of summer and grumpy tourists and were delighted that the hosts maintained an extremely cheery and helpful attitude towards all patrons. Food really good too and we are vegetarians! Good bagel sandwiches with thoughtful veggies and excellent prices. The star of our meal was the perfectly frozen coffees - so good we had 4!! But above all, some of the nicest hosts we encountered during our 2 week visit to the south of France. Good prices and good food and excellent hosts/owners! Just go and relax and be happy that you are in a little...

We were greeted as soon as we walked in. The decoration feels warm and cozy for a quick break from Menton “hiking”.

We were recommended the bagel of the day, which was tuna mayonnaise bagel. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! The softness of the bagel is balanced out with the other ingredients perfectly.

For drinks we ordered the Marocchino, a mocha but with its own unique taste. Definitely one of the best cafe’s ive been in...
