We came day before yesterday and loved the ramen . So before going back home , we decided to go again tonight and were really disappointed . But still a three star for the past experience and the service ladies. last time we came , I got tantanmen with a one big ball of beef and I loved it with the ramen so I went today expecting the same thing but since it was another chef , I got very very small portion of beef . And also for the other ramen we got uncooked porc . But they kindly cooked it when we asked . But for the beef one , we couldn’t complain because we could clearly see that the chef was a beginner . So we didn’t want to say anything . And we didn’t know if this was wrong amount of beef or last time the chef accidentally put too many . Idk . Anyways the overall experience was not as good as the last time . We even got the yakisoba which was unfortunately very salty .I think the Asian chef makes perfect ramen and the guy with the tattoo makes perfect yakisoba. But I think they only work like that during the weekend shift or when it’s very busy . At the end , we felt very unhappy with the 43 euro we spent today . So a 3 star for the perfect first time and a not so...

Ordered Tantanmen (usually served with minced meat), but there was no meat at all in my bowl. Raised the concern, the staff finally added a spoon of COLD minced meat after my strongly argument. Didn’t even finish the bowl because of cold meat. It is a Japanese restaurant, but all staffs are not even Asian face including the chef. No discrimination, but i wouldn’t believe the food quality will be good if the staff has also multiple-job (the chefs are also cashier and waiter). It does NOT look professional (could be seen also from the previous problem 1 - served wrong dish)
Some details to improve: The bottles for soy sauce and vinegar are the same and there is no label on it to tell the difference, both bottles are written “Soy Sauce”. Even though we can guess from the color, it would be better to mention it. The staff forgot to serve the water even after reminders. The restaurant was not full at that time The restaurant is located in old city where has many foreign tourists. It would be better if it could provide English...

Food/Dishes: Not the most authentic one but quite enjoyable.
But looking at the other reviews, I guess the quality of the ramen depends on who is working that day and preparing it for you.
Using thicker noddles and good but a little mild broth.
You also get free water right at the beginning.
Atmosphere: Super unique experience for Nice, because it‘s like a Hibachi style restaurant, where you can watch your food gets prepared right in front of you.
Was visiting on a super hot day, wouldn’t recommend that. Their air conditioner wouldn’t really work and it felt, that I was melting inside there.
Prices are ok, ramen are all around 13-17€
Downside: not the most hygienic place I‘ve seen. The floor in the kitchen is pretty dirty and the staff also works a bit clumsy. But still absolutely acceptable, but just to keep in mind if your super sensitive about hygiene.
Otherwise cool little spot with a small and simple menu and friendly staff.
PS: not...
