La Gourmandine — Restaurant in Nice

Please stay a country mile away from this establishment if you actually are looking to eat :) my girlfriend and I waited 15 minutes before we were served our drinks, while other people who were recently arriving had been served long before us. Did not even get to order any food, so we decided to leave. Not only that, when we tried to pay and leave, waitress made a big deal about paying with card for anything under 10€, which is not stated anywhere on the restaurant. Rude old blond lady Was a sunny day and wanted to sit down to eat with my GF and the baby in the buggy we sat at a 4 person table outside as only that was available, she asked us to stand up as we are only two (who consume) (and move to 2 seater table which only inside was available) we moved to a 2 seater table across the restaurant outside and she came there to say that she’s not serving food there … we stand up and left… unpleasant experience as everybody was staring at us while we left with the baby ( never gonna go there...

A friend and I had two orange juices. Beautiful location, service is arrogant like the following type “what do you tourist want from us?”. I asked if they had apricot croissant, the lady said no and started a monologue on how in France it’s only empty croissant and if I wanted apricot croissant I should go back to Italy. Surreal.
