Best fine dining experience you will find with outdoor seating in Nice. Menu features haute French cuisine with numerous meat, fish, chicken, and pasta options. The have a few tasting menus, one of which is a "truffle focused" option that includes a truffle sandwich, Filet topped with truffle, truffle Mashed potatoes, truffle risotto, and an éclair topped with truffle. Even if you go with a regular menu item there are plenty of chances to get your fill of truffle. The filet topped with truffle and truffle Mashed potatoes was exquisite and cooked exactly as requested (true medium rare) and the stuffed chicken with truffle on top of pasta was full of flavor and had more truffle on it than I have ever seen on a chicken breast in my life. Both the food and service are on par with what you would expect at a Michelin star restaurant and I honestly don't understand why they don't have at least one star. While they have an abundance of outdoor seating, the interior dining rooms are beautiful and the walls are adorned with classic French portraiture - the level of cuisine and service paired with the location (directly next to the opera house) lead me to believe this place must be popular with the pre and post Opera crowd. Expect to pay what you would pay at a Michelin star restaurant and know that you will definitely get your...

Overpriced and unwhelming food. We ended up here because the place we originally wanted to go to was fully booked (le frog, book ahead cause it is worth it). Don't be fooled by the aesthetic plating when you walk past, cause that'swhat lured us here. It is more of a tourist trap restaurant.

They handed us bread in a paper bag that they re-serve to other customers if you dont touch it (or others may have, you just dont know, probably a europe thing idk).

I ordered the octopus linguine, it was very bland, my other friend ordered the salmon version, it was then very salty sauce was sickeningly creamy.

One friend ordered the sea bass with artichoke that barely had any seabass on it, and the artichoke was barely recognisable as it was fried or something, did not taste like artichoke anymore more like oil.

Another friend had steak with salad and spinach something was pretty good (hence the 2 stars), but the sauce was a bit of a let down compared to the other restaurants we had steak at. The spinach thing was a bit bleh. So if you do end up here have the steak. You'll at least not be disappointed.

But for the price, I do not recommend it. If you are planning to have dinner make sure to check if a booking is needed in advance to avoid...

Do NOT eat here. So I visited this restaurant on June 17th, 2025. It started off bad when I asked the waitress for a cocktail and she mentioned to me they only have 1 bartender so I should order something else. That should have been my sign to leave but I didn’t. I ordered the lobster risotto. My girlfriend ordered the risotto with citrus and salmon steak. The food literally came 5 mins later so I already knew oh this is about to be bad because how is it ready that quick. My girlfriend’s salmon wasn’t even cooked…it was raw. My lobster was so undercooked and unflavorable. No seasoning to it was so ever. So I tell the waitress we don’t want it. She takes the plates to the kitchen and comes back and says “we tasted the lobster and it’s fine. We are cooking the salmon longer right now so it will be fine.” Wait what?!?. You think we want food that the staff personally ate off of back to us. We had to pay for a meal we didn’t even eat. A waste of $110. On top of that our waitress had the nerve to be upset that we wanted to leave without ordering a new meal. We paid so why is she upset?!?! We were never rude to her. We paid for a meal we didn’t even eat. Don’t go here if you value your money, time,...

Extremely disappointed by the girl and the guy working there today on 28/7. The restaurant was empty and we wanted table without sun exposure outside which was available but the guy and the girl who said she is a manager said we can not sit there. The reason for that is my friend has sun burn, however the staff didn’t want to help us and let us leaving the restaurant on a very arrogant french way which should not be acceptable for tourists place and restaurant with good reputation. Their behaviour was like big boss. The girl and the boy refused to give their names even though they should give their names and even worse she was presented as a manager however they are working now at 17:30 on 28/6. Photos of the empty restaurant show attached with photo of the staff working now who was so rude to us. Permission of taking photos has been given by him though he didn’t want to give his name.

Nice terrace in a busy pedestrian street in the old Nice nearby the Harbor, and few steps from Massena Square. Staff was very quick to take order and even offered us glasses et end of out dinner. Tables are dressed with true cotton napkins and serviettes. Glass of wine maybe expensive (#8€/Glass) yet served generously and are quite good quality. We had only several entrees and they were well presented and tasty. Price approximately 17-20€ for full portions but some are proposed in 1/2 portions. Truffles dishes are obviously much expensive (from 28 to 45€). A full truffle menu is proposed for 65€. Dessert was tasty, although their tiramisu missed some alcohol based on my experience. Overall 84€ for 2 which is not for everyone's budget but worth your money.

The place looked really nice, it was quite crowded so it looked like a perfect restaurant to celebrate the 10th anniversary of our relationship. The evening was half good or half bad as the rigatoni with truffles were a complete failure. We had pasta in Italy in several places so we can really tell when the pasta is boiled without adding salt in the water and the sauce was unsalty as well. Furthermore it had so many truffles that overall the meal was nauseating and uneatable. On any other occasion I would have asked the waiter to taste himself the pasta and tell me whether am I right or not. But since it was a special occasion I didn't want to argue. On the other hand the saint-jacques with mashed potatoes and truffles were good.
