I eat here every time I visit Nice - once every two years or so - and it never disappoints. It's French cuisine - refined without being over fussy. The setting is modest and pleasant but belies the quality of the food. My pâté de fois gras was delicious in itself and yet highlighted by the fruit coulis and toasted brioche that accompanied it. The large helping of veal sweetbread that followed was cooked just right. My cheese course was generous and good. As for my wife: she loved her artichoke starter and her squid main course (once she'd asked for lemon, that relieved its acidity) and her chocolate mouelleux (with clementine sorbet) was the best she's ever had.
