I choose this restaurant very carefully, after looking through a lot of Michelin 1 star restaurants in Nice. It end up being a really good meal, well deserved the price (9 course for €165 per person)
From start to finish, every dish was a creative expression of flavor, texture, and seasonality. Each plate was beautifully presented and thoughtfully composed, making this one of the most refined meals I’ve had in France. One thing I want to share, just my personal option, is that I went to a lot of other tasting menu, I can see others using fancy ingredients to make the price worthy, but here, I didn’t see it. I can tell the chef uses seasonal super fresh vegetables and fruit, and the dishes are well balanced. Also, they are very creative.
We also ordered wine pair and end up having €450 in total
The opening snacks were already impressive — vibrant crudités with a rich, creamy anchovy dip, paired with rosemary-scented bread and a deeply caramelized onion topping.
The second snack is shredded lamb with sesame mayo, lavender radish and fried potato. The potato is so creative. The inside is black! Tastes super good.
The Azur Bouquet (langoustine with consommé vinaigrette and fig leaf ice) was a highlight. The sauce is really tasty. The fig leaf sorbet is so refreshing.
The Japanese-inspired course (Tokyo – Nice Lost in Translation) was poetic: fish, dashi, radish, and seaweed, all presented in delicate balance — subtle and deeply satisfying.
The rabbit and foie gras in Animal Instinct was incredibly tender, and the Albufera sauce was rich yet elegant. The crisp green bean salad added the perfect contrast in texture.
The Time of Cherries brought a burst of summer — cherry vinaigrette, verbena frozen nougat, fresh herbs, and almonds. A whimsical, refreshing palate cleanser.
The Pistachio and Decadence dessert was exactly as promised: indulgent and satisfying, with crunchy textures and deep cocoa aromas balancing the pistachio ice cream.
The meal ended with a charming assortment of Sweet Kisses — small bites and surprises, including fruit, cakes, and a candlelit touch that made the evening feel personal and special.
Overall, the menu was elegant and playful, rooted in the terroir but globally inspired. Service was warm. However I don’t like them rush on taking away my dish which I had not finished yet. Even though, this meal took 3.5hr. Very good experience.
They even gave us a small Tiramisu for our occasion. Really sweet! Thank you!
At the time we leave, they also prepare small gift, two madeleine.
Anyway, I think it’s a really good experience, as every dish is above average, but also not super surprisingly high end, so it worth a...
Read moreLes Agitateurs deserve their one michelin star. We had an amazing meal with the 95 EUR menu. This is not a classic uptight Michelin star restaurant thus expect great service but with a « cool » relaxed southern twist. We were amazed by the taste of brioche with olive oil before having started the dinner. We had 4 appetizers as a start. Potato croquette with truffles was delicious and had a profound taste. Gambas tempura melted in our mouths and charcoal grilled octopus with kind of a teriyaki sauce was outstanding. The carrot curry dish was the highlight of our entire trip to Nice and around. The chef played with a lot of flavors to surprise us. Although it was vegetarian dish, first bite tasted like a charcoal steak. Then deep flavors of curry hits your taste buds with lots of smokey, spicy and sweet feelings. The chef makes you ask « how carrot can be so tasty ». Following the carrot dish, beetroot with cheese and creat sauce was extremely refreshing with lots of deep fresh flavors. The sole was cooked to perfection and bouillabaisse was mind blowing with raw and cooked fish such as bass, sea bream, rouget and mackerel. The veal was cooked to perfection but mushroom side added a deep flavor with the sauce that included chocolate notes. My partner does not eat red meat so the chef proposed spelt risotto with sabayon type sauce and black truffles! Delicious. We finished with two main desert and one side sweet. Lemon desert tasted like you are eating perfectly ripe 100 lemons at once. Super deep and refreshing with lukewarm and cold parts. Apparently it included three types of lemons from the region. The second chocolate desert also had multiple textures and was also another highlight. To finish, we had banana cream with passion fruit which went well with the coffee. Overall, an amazing dinner experience with great classic but also surprising flavors and very...
Read moreMy fiancé and I visited on the 1st of September during our vacation in Nice. The restaurant was situated on a corner inconspicuously. We entered with Michelin expectations, having visited several Michelin restaurants previously. The service opened with warm greetings as if saying hello to a friend, followed with considerate explanations of what to expect for the dinner service and drink list. The brand new 8 course meal opened with ‘Du bout des doigts’. The oysters were my favorite; the potato were her favorite. Next came ‘De San Remo à Hanoï, bon voyage’ which felt Vietnamese inspired and had a beautiful herbal bouquet. Then came ‘Courgette en fleury’ which was my personal favorite which left me feeling like head chef Samuel Victori definitely had something unique to convey. This was followed by ‘Tomate farcie ébouriffée’ which to me is best described as a tomato ravioli minus any ravioli, beautiful. A thoughtful dish that gave a mellow yet commanding energy came next called ‘Traversée en eaux vives’ and left me excited for more. Next came ‘Pigeon, caillette, canaille’ which was challenging and exciting and left me wondering what boundaries the chef planned to explore next. Dessert opened with ‘A l'ombre du figuier’ which refreshed the palette and left me desiring for more. Following the great dessert open was ‘Pistache & chocolat, lèche-doigts’ which was my personal favorite dessert. Then came the inventive ‘Pastèque Orient express’ her favorite! A beautiful finish with the petite fours aptly named ‘Baisers sucrés’. The dinner service ended with exceptional service and a personal greeting from head chef Samuel Victori which we greatly appreciated. All in all Les Agitateurs provided a once in a lifetime experience both in taste and service. I look forward to dining again here in the future and what amazing courses will be...
