TLDR: 最烂的餐厅,千万不要来,除非你要饿肚子回家。
Most RIDICULOUS f&b place ever. If I could give zero stars I would. Service is ATROCIOUS.
We were only 2pax and there were tables available but the staff is so disorganised they told us to wait and didn’t seat us because they didn’t want to clear the empty tables. Eventually many left the queue after a long wait and the ones who did manage to get seated basically pushed their way in and asked to seat themselves.
After we finally got seated, we ordered on their iPad and passed it to the service staff who checked our order was submitted properly. However, it turns out they never sent the order to the kitchen??? After a super long wait and all the others who were seated and ordered after us got their food, we asked the staff about our order and it turns out she forgot to submit it. Mind you there were many times while waiting I tried to get the attention of the staff but even when I called out to her and she turned to look at me she would just ignore and walk off to another table. Also she was so unapologetic about forgetting to submit our order?! The couple seated next to us felt so bad for us they even offered us their own drinks.
Anw after they finally submitted our order and we STILL had to wait really long. The second time we chased them, we heard them speaking in Chinese to one another that the kitchen hadn’t started cooking our order. At this point it was so ridiculous we just left.
Save yourself a bad experience and don’t bother coming here. Staff are clearly not equipped to manage...
Read moreFood was not good. Served a chicken dish with peanuts but there were more peanuts than chicken. Very oily and sweet sauce on the chicken/peanuts. Not much flavor other than oil and sweet.
Also got dumplings with chili oil. The chili oil used did not taste like chili oil at all. It was very bland and had little to no spice to it.
The food came out quickly which was nice considering how hungry I was, but surprising when all of my food came out in under 5 minutes. I don't know if the food is made to order, but it seemed very quick for it to be.
The staff were friendly but no excuse for the food.
Do not be fooled by the high star reviews from before. If you want oily/sweet food with little meat then maybe this is what you are looking for, but I did not think anything I ordered was what I expected it to be. I've tried out multiple Sichuan style restaurants in New York and California and they all had a similar tasting chili oil. This is the first restaurant I've had with such flavorless and colorless chili oil.
It could very well just be my personal preference, but I would caution anyone looking to try some authentic Chinese food to steer clear from this place.
Dishes I ordered :
Chicken with peanuts Green beans Dumplings with chili oil Steamed rice (no fried rice...
Read moreThe food is authentic, however, there are some points I need to make about giving 1 star to this restaurant. There was only one waitress who hosts/serves the whole restaurant, which makes absolutely no services there. The waitress was totally stressed and not professional, she ignored all the requests and talk in a very arrogant manner. I mentioned two times we did not want any coriander in our dish, guess what, all three dishes we ordered came with coriander on the top (which is unfortunate for us who absolutely hate coriander and it can ruin the whole dish). Again, the food was though authentic besides the coriander thing. However, my partner the second day got a bad food poisoning from their, coming with stomach inflammation and bad fever. We did not think about the food poisoning from the beginning coming from there, until me myself got bad diarrhea after my partner. Therefore we both knew that was the food from the restaurant.
For those who would like to enjoy authentic Chinese without being food poisoning, please avoid this place. These are just very unpleasant experiences we had in this restaurant that...
