Oceanosa sushi Nice — Restaurant in Nice

It’s the second time for me in this restaurant and the both times I’ve been disappointed.. I am a big lover of sushi! the taste of tuna threw me off, the tempura crevettes were not cooked inside! after an hour my stomach started hurting. Im not sure if it was because of the sushi here and I don’t want to be blaming for no reason but I didn’t eat anything all day apart from eating here. We waited about 10-15 minutes for sushi and that’s pretty fast because i ordered for 3 people.. but deserts took 20 minutes to come . The drinks are completely overpriced!! Overall pretty disappointed.. I left 100€+ and I completely regret it .. also as a sous chef, I don’t quite understand why are you making tiramisu a la minute exactly..? The biscuits were crunchy (also thats why it took deserts 20min to come probably )

Save your money and go somewhere else Horrible, bland and tasteless sushi.

Waitress took the order then went to eat her food. We awaited for our drinks for over 20 min - even so was not busy at all. Door took over 40 min - I could see our food on the pass but she was prioritising her phone over customers who actually paying her salary.

I honestly this guys know how to make sushi! It’s like you get the supermarket pre-made sushi but paying triple price. Wasted over 100€ .

Also who puts a tin tuna in a bloody sushi! Use the real fresh tuna and charge more!

Perhaps hire a proper sushi chef and train your front of house so that is a long term benefit to...

Oceanosa delivers authentic, Japanese-led food at a good price. I say Japanese-led because the inevitable ‘Poké’ bowls have entered the menu (whatever). There’s a great selection of Sushi and some hot dishes too, like Gyoza and Yakatori skewers. We ordered everything to come together - Wakami salad (a delicious, slightly gelatinous seaweed), chicken Gyoza, Yakatori and crevettes. You order from a tablet. Or try too!
