Perhaps one of the nicer aspects about this place is the ambiance and setting. Food is decent although nothing out of the ordinary. Their pancakes are quite tasty and so is the scrambled eggs they offered as part of a "breakfast of the day" offer they had. I went there twice and on the first time the waitress was quite attentive and food came out quite quickly. The secod time I was there, a man served us and there was a real difference. When olnly half the order came and was brought to his atttention, he just shrugged his shoulders and said he only understood that I had ordered one breakfast. So I guess it's my fault now. But ok, that kind of service is somewhat expected in Europe. I've lived in Germany long enough to know. What upset me is that while on the first day we got a nice basket of 3 different kinds of sliced bread, this waiter must have thought that these two Asians don't possibly know how to enjoy a good bread and only gave a measy one slice a person. And even after the second breakfast came out, no bread was added and I had to ask for jam, butter, and a knife when it was automatic the day before. Yeah, service stinks, but it may just be because we're Asians in a western restaurant.

Let me tell you the story of this bowl. I ordered this chicken poke bowl. As you can see, it looks quite nice and appetizing from the outside. If you take a look at the cafe's Instagram hashtags, you will see that all of their plates are so adorned. But the truth is not so. First, the rice was extremely dry, lumpy, and ice cold. I had to smother it in soy sauce to sweeten it. It was also quite expensive in terms of price-quality performance. Despite my warning twice, the burger we ordered had bacon in it. In my opinion, this is an unforgivable mistake. Also, if I had gone to the toilet before eating, I wouldn't have even drunk water here. The toilets were incredibly dirty. In addition, the kitchen, which I saw a part of next to the toilet, did look like the ones in cauchmar en cuisine. what do they say “ appearance may be often deceiving” Long story short, never go to this place!

Been a couple of times while we're here in Nice. The food is good, prices reasonable and service friendly (if a little chaotic). It is right next to the market so prime location for gouging but they really don't. First visit was mildly chaotic (busy rugby day) so service was a bit slow and confused but we were in no hurry. Second visit better organised. Staff are not in your face selling so if you want something, flag them down but perfect for a nice relaxed lunch. Worth checking out the daily special on the blackboard (Plat du jour). I had it both time and was quality, my partner also very much enjoyed their chicken burger. Also, recommend the merengue (to share, they aren't lying when they call it giant)

Unfortunately this wasn’t a restaurant that we would have chosen but all the restaurants were packed so we ended up here. Very mediocre food. Chicken burger and sandwich were lacking on chicken. Most of it was bread and covered in an excessive amount of mayonnaise. The service was absolutely terrible. Waiter honestly didn’t even say anything to us the whole time. He just stood there waiting for us to talk. Ordered water with my food in French and they didn’t bring me any at first. Even if he didn’t hear me ask for it, should be obvious that I didn’t ask for a drink so he should have had some common sense to ask me what I wanted. I ended up getting it after asking again when our food arrived. Again, mediocre food. What really upset me was that when I asked for the check after we were done. I flagged him down on the other side of the restaurant and he points for me to go inside. We go in and were rudely told that their card reader isn’t working so we have to have cash. He said he could reboot it to see if it works but didn’t attempt to at all. Didn’t have any cash and didn’t have a card on me that could be used at the atm to withdrawal it. Check also wasn’t split which was the first thing we requested. Relied on our friend to pay the bill for us and they were charged an extra $6 to withdrawal from the atm. This should have been brought to our attention before we even sat down or ordered. One of us is now experiencing an upset stomach almost immediately after leaving too. This has been the worst experience we’ve had with any restaurant and staff that we’ve been to so far on our trip. Everyone else has been beyond nice and the hospitality has been amazing. Would not recommend this...

Would like to give no stars to this one if it was possible. After being charged two times by the waitress the manager refuses to pay me back in cash what they took me from my card without noticing, they say. I went back after I noticed I was charged two times on my phone banking and a rude manager instead of being friendly and helpfull did everything to not pay me back immediately. He says the only way is putting it back in the credit card and that it would take tow days. I didn't like this solution at all but I was staying in town for one week so I accept it knowing that I could pass by if I didn't get it back, as they said. After one week I didn't get it back on my account and I went there again to ask the money in hand. Another manager, really unfriendly, one more time tries to excuse saying he can't do anything and that he wont give the money back. I freaked out with his non human attitude and called the police. Calling the police reminded me that it doesn't solve nothing. The police even looked like partnering with the Restaurant. Experience to forget in Nice with French Police and Restaurant owner. An example of how can something so bad even still happening. How can still people be so un-human and still run a...
