Absolutely loved my brunch here! The croissant was a standout – incredibly flaky and buttery, just perfect. I also had the avocado toast, which was fantastic. The fruit selection was a pleasant surprise; it was all wonderfully fruity and fresh, without being overly sweet. But the real showstopper was the Hungarian bread! I used to come to this place when I stayed 40% of my time in Paris before Covid. At that time, it was called “Alma”. I was disappointed when I found out that Alma permanently closed.. However, I am very happy that there is Eclat. I guess Alma was bought by new owner and it becomes Eclat but serving same chimney cake just like Alma.

Same delicious chimney cake, good coffee, good hot chocolate, same nice ambience.. although the nice ponytail guy is now replaced by nice asian couple.

oh man, I need to leave a review of this tiny little cafe in Paris. It was so good and clean and simple and fresh and delicious. My daughter and I got the most beautiful, small pancakes perfectly matching in size stacked neatly with fresh yogurt dollop and summer berries and syrup. Wife got a yogurt granola fruit bowl that she loved. My chai latte, too, was great even with a lower spice level, fitting for the simple qualities the bakery stands by each day.
