Caffé Créole — Restaurant in Paris

Café Créole is absolutely my favorite place in Paris. Whether you go simply for an aperitif or for dinner, you can't help but be captivated by it. The atmosphere is wonderfully pleasant, carefully crafted in every detail without being excessive. It offers fantastic happy hour options, particularly those paired with their famous tapas. The Caribbean Creole cuisine is a journey of taste experiences, and Café Créole accomplishes this magnificently. The food is sublime. The service is excellent, on par with a high-end restaurant - kind, friendly, and engaging. A special mention goes to the maître de salle and manager of the establishment who, with his charm and affability, makes this café-restaurant even more unique and exclusive. He told me his name is "Mad," but I believe it's more of a nickname that perfectly aligns with his quirky and cheerful personality. So disappointing and more expensive than Michelin starred meals we have had in London.. for no good reason! The place was empty and was there with a friend and 4 kids.. the staff were talking loudly having conversations with each other.. they did not care about us except to get our money. Kids had burgers but there was way too much cheese stuck to it so they didn't eat it. The goat Colombo tasted like it had been frozen and was nothing special. In London I would not have paid for this meal. Great place for local Créole food and drinks! I love this place. The flavors, the taste, the smell and the presentation are all part of the dining experience in this restaurant.
