Aux 2 K — Restaurant in Paris

What an incredible Bib Gourmand experience! This was by far the best high-quality food for the price we’ve had in Paris. Every dish was delicious and beautifully balanced, building toward an unforgettable climax with the desserts, just wow! I often skip dessert, but here, they were absolutely exceptional.

You could really feel the subtle Asian touch woven into classic French dishes, bringing a unique and refined twist to each plate. The two ladies in the kitchen clearly know exactly what they’re doing. Everycourse reflected precision, creativity, and heart.

And the waiter? One of the kindest and most hardworking I’ve ever come across. His service was warm, attentive, and professional. Only a rare few could manage what he did on his own.

If there’s one suggestion for improvement, it would be to bring in a second waiter, perhaps even a sommelier. Not because anything was delayed or missing, but simply because the pressure on him was evident, and some support would only elevate the experience further.

We visited on a Friday night and each had the tasting menu with a bottle of wine. We really enjoyed the dishes and the helpful explanations provided by the friendly waiter. He was also happy to provide explanations in English, as our French is not very good!

Since the restaurant was full, and all the diners were at different stages of their meal, I did notice the waiter was a little bit exhausted by the end of service! The restaurant may benefit from introducing sittings and/or changing the service from a la carte to tasting menu only.
