Paris Eats ‖ Top Indian Restaurant: Curry and Naan 😋

Unfriendly Service, no welcome snacks and sauces were offered, though the Restaurant was almost empty we were not served on our desired tables, and we were made to sit in a corner on a tables of two which was jusssst enough for two ppl. My biriyani was without mandatory spices and salt was also less hence no taste enhancing without salt.Cutlery was missing on the table had to ask about that, one can understand if the Restaurant is busy but in an empty Restaurant its ridiculous, green salad was served with only 5 pcs of cucumber and alot of onions without any representation, yoghurt sauce was served with biriyani good thing i appreciate but was not stated in menu so i ordered it separately and the waiter didnt even informed me that i am ordering one thing two times and had to pay extra for the same thing any way my fault. Ambience was so so because it was blueish dark inside, light it up guys. And after paying the bill had to wait for our change because the waiter forgot how much we needed to pay and how much was the actual bill and how much tip should be given, sorry but improvements needed in all departments i have visited a lot of indian and Pakistani restaurants in Europe this one was the worst experience, i know am being critic but i hope it will help you improve the standards, so kindly take my comments positive.

I am a regular visitor to this Indian restaurant that is located just 1-2 minutes from 'Gare du Nord' train/metro station in central Paris. The design of main hall of the restaurant has a great symmetry and appears to be inspired from 'Vastu - Shastra' - the traditional Indian system of architecture. The waiters welcomes you with smile, and are eager to address your requests. The menu has large variety of authentic vegetarian and non-vegetarian Indian food that is difficult to find elsewhere. On this occasion, I ordered a vegetarian platter/ 'thali' - which consist of range of freshly cooked vegetables curries, dhal lentil, Indian yoghurt, long-grain aromatic rice, a real chapati (so rare in Paris!), and a dessert cooked in a healthy clarified butter (ghee). As usual, I thoroughly enjoyed every bite of my food. I topped my lunch with a south-Indian filter milk-coffee - the best one in Paris!

We came in at 9:20 the waiter taking our order explained that it would take 25 min after we ordered. We waited and we got one tomato’s soup and after we explained we ordered two he brought it out to us 30min after. We had the tomato soup and they gave us the appetizer without any plates so we requested plates we didn’t get to those either until 10:47. While we waited for plates they brought everyone else orders who came after us and they finished their food and left. We got the plates but they weren’t clean so we requested new ones. They didn’t adhere to the request. They switch out our plates with another tables plates. We we’re trying to understand and we were told ourself, they are understaffed we can’t get mad at them, so we dusted off our plates and cleaned them with water. After around 10 min they then gave us chicken curry with barely any curry. At this point we were waiting for around 1 hour and 30 mins. We waited for the rotis and didn’t get them till 11:05. I don’t blame anyone who was working they were understaffed. It just we didn’t wait 1 hour 40 mins for them to get irritated with us everytime we corrected their mistakes and for them to ignore any of our requests. The portion sizes were tiny and the prices were high. For a plate of chicken 65 that had about 3 big piece and the rest little pieces it was not worth 11 Euros . The prioritized the takeout order over ppl who were waiting for over a couple hours. They also gave us other ppl orders and kept getting irritated every-time we...

This is first Restraunt on the street, and also upscale, calmer than neighboring Sarwana Bhavan.

Had funny experience, on asking if they have Vada Sambhar the answer was Yes (It is not listed in Menu). we ordered and waited for our order sitting close to counter I noticed a person bringing some food in a dish from backside of restaurant rather than from the kitchen. Too my surprise it was the Vada we ordered, when served to us we noticed the it was cold, it was uneatable luke-warm. When I complained the answer was "We do not prepare this dish, it is brought from neighboring Sarwana Bhavan" I pleaded/pushed the guy to heat it up in their kitchen. So all our food "Veg Thanli, Masla Dosa, Vada Sambhar" was brought in from the back door. We ate food prepared at Sarvana Bhavan at this place, it was best of both worlds for us. Tasty food and nice environment. Also not too costly.

The toilet was horrible not cleaned at all, and I suspect it also shared between neighboring...
