walked in after noticing a steady stream of folks stopping in this very clean and bright boulangerie. was waiting for the croissants to come out when the praline and pistachio and pandan feuillettes caught my eye. asked victor about them and they mentioned the former were very popular so i decided to get one of those instead.
i had a moment with this thing! if you enjoy eating peanut butter straight from the jar this feuillette is for youâitâs packed full of what is essentially all natural pistachio butter. there must be $10 of pistachio in the filling! i was planning to try some more pastries this morning but was quite full after finishing the feuillette so i recommend coming hungry or sharing it. after finished i went right back in to get a baguette which also great of course. iâll be back tomorrow to try the pandan.
oh and their machine made espresso is surprisingly excellent. a doubleshot + pastry is possibly the best start to the morning...
   Read moreNov â23: I finally got to try this newly opened boulangerie in the neighbourhood! Classic selection of viennoiseries on a weekday. Special mention for the croissant and pain au chocolat. Perfectly baked, crispy outside, soft and buttery inside.
Edit Jan â24: Pandan feuilletĂ©e - good dose of Pandan flavour, a little too sweet for my Asian palette but my partner really liked it. Galette de rois - very âbruteâ tasting, not overly sweet. Well-executed puff pastry. No âfĂšveâ for 2 person portion. Pain tradition - average, lacking the fragrance of fermentation. Will give the other bread selection a try!
Only downside now is that the service can be a little cold and the queue is always so long on the weekends.

   Read moreDe passage dans le quartier j'ai dĂ©couvert cette boulangerie. Le personnel est hyper sympa et les produits sont excellents. Pas la peine de prĂ©ciser que tout est fait sur place, on le voit au premier coup d'Ćil et la confirmation est immĂ©diate en bouche! Meule bio parfaitement cuite avec une belle croute et une mie gourmande; le pain au curcuma lĂ©gĂšrement briochĂ© avec ses noisettes est une tuerie. Les viennoiseries (croisant et pain au chocolat aux amandes) sont excellentes avec un vrai bon chocolat. Les gĂąteaux ne sont pas en reste: le gĂąteau au fromage a une texture incroyable avec un beau goĂ»t de vanille, le marbrĂ© avec son glaçage chocolat a Ă©tĂ© dĂ©vorĂ© par mes enfants et la tarte au citron meringuĂ©e a fait l'unanimitĂ© autour de la table de mon dĂ©jeuner dominical: Ă©paisseur de pĂąte juste comme il faut, du croquant, du peps grĂące au citron vert et juste ce qu'il faut de sucrĂ©. Bref, j'y retournerai et je ne peux que recommander. Et pour ne rien gĂącher, le personnel est trĂšs sympa et surtout connait bien...
