In terms of the bakery itself, the quality is very good. Their baguette is among the best in France, and their croissants and viennoiseries are excellent. The tarts and pastries arenât as strong, though their flan is definitely worth trying.
My lower rating, however, is not about the food. Itâs about something more serious: the way foreign customers are treated. On my last visit, I tapped my card, the payment was canceled, she adjusted the terminal, turned it back to me with the price increased, and when I questioned it, she said it was because I had a foreign card then pulled out another terminal without the extra fee. A Mastercard is a Mastercard everywhere, and I already pay foreign transaction fees through my own bank. To be charged again at the terminal feels like exploitation of tourists, which is deeply disappointing in a city like Paris that survives...

   Read moreI saw the advertisement on Instagram that the flan here is very delicious. And I came to buy it. Honestly, it is not as delicious as advertised. For me, it is about 7/10 points, the cake is a bit too sweet. Crust is very soft and chewy. The pain au chocolat is also dry and not crispy.
Another thing, the staff is not friendly, she seem to rush me to buy quickly even though I have just been in for about 2 minutes and was thinking about buying something else...
