Great place to grab some tasty crepes when visiting canal St. Martin. It's location right next to the canal is perfect for people watching while enjoying some delicious crepes, both savory and sweet. We got there as the sun was setting and stayed till dark. We ordered the specials of the day, which was raw oysters and a savory crepe filled with salmon, white asparagus, cheese, and egg. We also got their duck crepe with mushrooms and cheese, pilsners on tap and some wine, side salad, and fries. Dessert was apple crepe with ice cream. Everything was good quality, but the special crepe was the winner with a perfect blend of delicious blend of salty, creamy and sweet. What made the evening special was the beautiful ambience of the glorious spring weather, and the leisurely live music played by performers at the canal.
Perfect ambience and decent food. Great for a date...
Read moreI had a craving for a sweet and once I arrived at Breizh Café, was upsold into a wonderful experience. They sell traditional buckwheat Breton crêpes - some with some Japanese influences. The dry cider paired with my savoury crêpe was also delicious. I could hear the jazz from across the seine, and also really enjoyed the yuzu butter crêpe I had for dessert. Service was lovely, and attentive. The waitress knew English was my preferred language as I took an English menu, but was patient with my French and we conversed entirely in French, despite her English probably being much better!
Highly recommend visiting this...
Read moreI love this place. Absolutely incredible location, food, and service. Truly one of the best restaurants in Paris. For tourists coming to France, it even provides a special local experience, because where else in the world will you get true galettes bretonnes?
Thank you Breizh for the welcome, for the delicious food, and for accommodating our requests every time. You're the best!
We go to all their restaurants, but the ones in Batignolles and at the Canal St-Martin are...
