We arrived early, and they only open at 7 p.m. The lady boss kindly allows us to enter and browse the menu. When I asked if there was WiFi, the lady boss said no because the network was weak/spoilt. The lady boss's husband then arrived to apologize for the lack of WiFi caused by a network issue. If I'm not mistaken, they are Korean. The kitchen and toilet are located in the basement. When you visit the toilet, it can feel extremely stuffy and greasy. I ordered 𝐁𝐮𝐥𝐠𝐨𝐠𝐢 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐜 𝟏𝟖 € 𝐑𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐝𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐄𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐞 (𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐲 𝐊𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐰) 𝟏𝟖 € When you order a main course, three different types of small side dishes are served alongside it. It's nice to have piping hot soup on a cold day in Paris! It's extremely hearty! I enjoy spicy foods, but this bowl of kimchi stew is a bit too spicy for me. Read moreHad dinner here with my wife tonight and was deeply disappointed. We were advised against the dishes that we actually wanted to order just because we said we don't like "too much spicy food", unfortunately the owner immediately assumed that we only eat no spice at all and literally forced us to order very bland and sweetened dishes, simply pointed at pictures of 3 dishes and said "choose now" not to mention the relatively expensive prices. It is not worth the confusion in the reservation process where we almost ended up standing in the queue outside because they did not understand us. At the end of the dinner the owner asked us whether we liked it - when we gave him our honest opinion he exclaimed a fake laugh and just walked away.
To sum up the experience all I can say is I am better off cooking my own Korean food at home, it tastes more authentic than the food cooked by Thai and Indian...
Read moreI visited this restaurant with two friends who could pass as Asian, but are not. While the owner was very friendly and attentive toward them, trying to speak Korean to them (even though they had stated they’re not), I felt completely overlooked. As the only French speaker in the group and the only Black person, it was uncomfortable. It honestly felt like I had to ask multiple times for basic service, whereas my friends were immediately taken care of. I also found it odd that I was addressed in English the whole time while being the only French speaker there, and the only one speaking some Korean too. I was even asked if I needed a fork, though I had no problem using chopsticks, while my friends weren’t. The food was okay, but overpriced for what you get, especially considering the many other...
