I was there for lunch with my cousin at Cafe Limo on Saturday and I must say I have never ever received such a worst service. This was my cousin’s third day in Paris and I am extremely embarrassed to have taken her there. Being in France, one always expects polite and courteous behaviour but at Cafe Limo the waitress was highly disrespectful and rude. She came and started winding up our table when we were in the middle of our meals, she started to take away my cousin’s plate when there was pizza still left and when I told her we are still eating she said ‘oh I didn’t see that’ at least she could have asked us before clearing the table. That’s the basic etiquette that any server can have. Anyway we didn’t feel like eating after that and so I went inside to make the payment and that’s when she said ‘I was clearing the table because the customers waiting wanted to sit at the same table as yours and that I am the only one working here so I am stressed with all the orders’ WOW that was a shocker to me. In the hospitality industry you may be stressed at times but you cannot forget your basic etiquettes. Saying this I would request the Cafe owners to hire a few more waiters/waitresses, to make your ‘very stressed waitress’ less stressed.
Overall a very bad experience and I must say after such a bad experience tasty food also...
Read moreRegulars of the restaurant, we were more than disappointed by the managers / owners. Our food arrived an hour after ordering. The waitress was kind enough to give us a gesture. Unfortunately, the managers did not advance our order which arrived at the end of service. In addition, when serving a digestive as compensation, at the initiative of the service team, the manager / owner found that it was too much and just made from 1 glass, 2 glasses. I find this more than petty. Given this deplorable experience, we will favor other places where the managers / owners have the notion of service and commerce. Otherwise the food was...
Read moreWe originally stopped by Café Limo for their €5 Prosecco glass, but we ended up staying for so much more! The owner was incredibly welcoming and took the time to chat with us, which made the experience even more special. We enjoyed the cozy, Italian vibe and decided to share a bottle of Prosecco instead of just one glass. The patio is the perfect spot to relax and people-watch, overlooking a charming Parisian street. Café Limo is a hidden gem for anyone looking for great drinks and warm hospitality....
