‘My guest experience was not pleasant at all.’ I went to this restaurant in Paris for brunch on Wednesday morning. We visited it because the reviews online are decent and many said that the there is English speaking service. Here is the summary of my experiences: Atmosphere and cleanness: 5 stars. beautiful decor, nice atmosphere with music. Food and beverage: 4 stars. We ordered the scramble eggs with smoked salmon, waffle with bacon and egg, and avocado toast with egg. it came efficiently and food tasted decent. The plate is served on an appetizer plate, about half the size compared to the top notch Vancouver CA brunch places. Not that we left hungry but just diffident portion sizes. Customer service: well, I’d only give it 1 star. This place is quite disappointing when it comes to service. Hence I will not be interested to return or recommend to anyone else. Here is why. We arrived at the restaurant in Paris right after it opened around 8:35am. We walked in and told the waitress a table for three, she pointed at a table behind the bar and said ‘just sit over there in the middle.’ Wow, I was quite taken back by the unfriendliness straight from the get go. She came over to the table without any smile nor greetings. We clearly spoke fluent English and she made no effort to explain what on the French menu. Hate To think it’s because we are Asian women?! She dropped the bottle of water with three glasses stacked up, later on dropped the plates with knives and forks stacked up. Like seriously? She can’t pour the water for us or place the plates in front of us? She came to take our orders, my sister was trying to figure out what exactly it says on the French menu, she made no effort to jump in. Clearly leaving the guests struggling.. Later on she came to put another bottle of water on the table, I assumed it was because a guy who came to the restaurant was the manager so she had to make some minimum effort?! When we were ready to pay for the €53 bill, she wouldn’t take our €100. She said we were her first table and she has no changes....Well, is this restaurant prepared to run a business? How about asking kindly instead of rejecting our method of payment. I heard her talking to the manager(?) with a perfect North American accent. I asked if she is French, she said she is American. That was almost even more disappointing because she should have known better about guest experience/customer service. Anyway, I wanted to...

I never really post reviews, but I haven’t been able to get this experience off my mind! Food was fine, but we had an unbelievably rude experience with the waiter. My mother has worked in the restaurant industry for fifteen years, working with Michelin star restaurants and chefs as both a food distributer, grower, and artisan cheesemaker. Part of her practice is saving things from restaurants she really enjoys or thinks at least has good ideas. On this particular evening, she decided to keep the small, post card sized daily menu that was given to each of us upon arrival to remember to look further into the restaurant later. She wanted to buy their cookbook. She does more research into how successful restaurants function than anyone I know as it is important for her clients. When we went to pay, our waiter looked into my mother’s purse as she grabbed her wallet (an invasion of privacy in itself) and practically accused her of stealing in front of our entire group. Never has she been treated or spoken to so poorly in a restaurant. She is a seasoned restaurant industry professional and this restaurant decided a piece of paper that probably costed 10 centime to make was worth more than their customer’s experience, and specifically a customer who would have come back and supported this business in the future. Truly...

Nestled in the heart of Paris, **Buvette Paris** offers a cozy and intimate setting perfect for a leisurely breakfast. The café’s charming vintage décor, complete with rustic wooden tables, exposed brick walls, and soft lighting, creates an inviting atmosphere that blends traditional Parisian elegance with a modern twist. It’s the kind of place where time seems to slow down, allowing you to fully savor the experience. The service is warm, attentive, and unhurried, making you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. The staff is friendly without being overbearing, offering helpful recommendations without rushing you. The breakfast menu is simple but refined, with a focus on fresh, quality ingredients. The **croissants** are golden and buttery, the perfect accompaniment to a rich, creamy **cappuccino**. Their scrambled eggs are light and fluffy, and the smoked salmon adds a deliciously smoky flavor. For those with a sweet tooth, their **waffles** with fresh berries and whipped cream are a delightful option. With its relaxed vibe, delicious food, and prime location near Montmartre, **Buvette Paris** is a great spot for those looking to enjoy a quintessential Parisian breakfast in a cozy, welcoming environment.
