Café Pivoine — Restaurant in Paris

Service was really kind, but made some mistakes on our order. They brought out an extra drink we didn't order and served the chicken burger after I asked for a vegetarian one. I didn't want the wrong order to go to waste, so I did eat it which was fine, but I am not a big fan of the chicken burger. The first bite was amazing, but it has brie on it as well as bacon ánd it seemed to be dipped into some kind of cheese sauce. It was HUGE and I'm sure people will love it. Just not my type of thing.

We were pretty excited to the idea of having a brunch there this morning but truly what a deceptive experience ! I am not talking about the new waitress she was doing her best, she was kind but there were a lot of customers to handle alone but I guess she needs to be helped by the supervisor and trained! The food was a really blend and tasteless ! Like you had everything for a brunch at the same time sweet and salty ! The toasts were not delicious ! I hope they can do better next time on the food and the toasts and...

This cafe serves latte and flat white at 7.50 euros each. If this was good coffee you would understand but it’s a rip off. It’s basically coffee milkshake served in a tall glass with so much foam at the top it’s impossible to drink. I sent mine back and the waiter kindly got me an espresso BUT I still got charged 7.50. This is a real shame for the neighborhood as the place is trying a bit too hard to be cute without the basics right. Basically another “Emily in Paris”...
