I feel very uncomfortable about the service. I sat in and ordered a coffee there. I wanted to charge my phone there for minutes but the host was telling me that the electricity is expensive and I shouldn’t charge it for a long time. I’ve never heard that in a coffee/tea shop, which seems pretty inappropriate when it comes to a service. She seemed really annoyed that some of us only drank coffee, and eventually we were asked to leave only after about 40 mins so that she could accommodate 2 people (it was more than six of us, many of whom got desserts). Chez Hélène fait partie de ces lieux rares que l’on voudrait égoïstement m garder secrets, tout en ayant la conviction qu’ils mériteraient une reconnaissance bien plus vaste. Lorsqu’un endroit parvient à incarner ce paradoxe, celui du refuge intime de quartier et de l’adresse qu’on rêve de faire découvrir, c’est qu’il a déjà conquis quelque chose d’essentiel.
