We entered to have a quick drink before visiting a gallery. We waited a while for service and while waiting took a picture of the sign above the bar. Out of nowhere the owner appears and starts yelling at us to not take pictures. We apologized multiple times and said we will not take pictures. He continued to yell and asked where we were from before berating us for not speaking French. He then demanded to take my phone before throwing us out of the establishment cursing at us without offering any apologies. This is the first time I have ever been cursed at in an establishment and the first time I have ever been thrown out of an establishment. It ruined our afternoon and our previous excellent impressions of Paris. We recommend staying away from this cafe.

I had a wonderful lunch at Chez Mme Gen! The food offers great value for money, with excellent quality and flavors. The service was warm and welcoming, making the experience even better. Highly recommend for the terrasse during sunny days.

Un bon resto de quartier. Bon accueil et service. Petite terrasse à l'extérieur. Le tartare (sans oeuf ni câpres) très bon ainsi que la salade grecque bien composée et assaisonnée. Prix très correct pour le quartier. Je recommande
