Dumbo — Restaurant in Paris

their burguer is the best you'll ever taste if you like this particular style, fries are perfectly fried and bread is also very good. but there is something else about this place. it is hard enough to work in this industry, specially fast food kind of places, so you don't often see workers smiling and very often not a cool ambient, even if it is an open kitchen. i was in dumbo in rush hour, orders were pouring in, and cooks were smiling, talking to each other nicely, listening to their music. also the front of house guy seemed to get along very nicely with the back of house. this all may seem pointless for a food review for a place that doesn't even have tables to sit, but i really think costumers should start paying more attention to how the workers are actually treated in restaurants and how is the ambience, because it does reflect on the food. even if you dislike their burguers, this place deserves only 5 stars. no service and yet...

Please know what a smash burger is before you go here and comment. The burger is a quintessential smash burger. Fresh ground beef, well seasoned and cooked to order. Great sauce ratio. Nice soft bun. Delicious American style cheese. Quality pickle. Awesome.

Love the simple menu. Quick and no fuss, not pretending to be anything else.

If you complained about the lack of seating, I can’t understand why. It’s not like you were mislead. There is something wholesome about a hole in the wall food dispensary. Don’t expect a restaurant, it’s not what this is. It’s like taking a bus and complaining it was too slow and didn’t fly you there.

It was my first time at Dumbo after it’s been recommended to me for their smash burgers. I had 6 chicken nuggets and a double cheeseburger for lunch, it was very filling. The meat of the burger and the nuggets are really good quality and very well seasoned. You watch your food being made while seated at the counter. Condiments are for free which is nice to add on as my burger had to little sauce on it. The nuggets were mediocre to me, as for the burger same. I prefer other fast food places near by such as cammion by Parmentier. As Dumbo has a very small menu although I prefer seating and ambience. I had higher expectations after the hype was so big.
