Chulita — Restaurant in Paris

So much potential that is lost with the service! The design of the restaurant and the products are very good and the prices are correct. The food is carefully made and the menu offers authentic dishes and drinks. The restaurant layout is very well thought: a bar, tables and outdoor siting. However the service is never top notch. The servers take a while to take the order, bring starters with the main dishes, there’s a long wait between servings and drinks are not systematically served or asked for. The quality of service was disappointing and could be improved...

This place is horrible, I really don’t understand how it’s rated so highly, the food is absolutely bland, the quesadilla carne is tiny and not very flavorful either, I ordered take out and waited like 35 minutes while they were not at all busy. Overall by far the worst « Latino » food I’ve had in Paris, if you want better tacos for not too expensive go to Nomas or el nopal. This tastes like gentrification...

Es la primera vez que voy a comer directamente ( anteriormente había hecho el pedido con entrega a domicilio). Yo no vivo en Paris y por eso aprovecho para comer mexicano cuando voy, para probar un pedacito de México 🙏🏽.

Sin embargo me sorprendió mucho el recibimiento, de 3 personas del staff sólo una respondió el saludo. Tuvimos que esperar 20 minutos parados frente al local sin que ni siquiera no nadie nos propusiera el sentarnos y esperar ( abrieron tarde) nos sentamos nosotros mismos, a nuestra mesa ni siquiera le pusieron servilletas, nos pasaron el menú por la ventana... No acostumbro ser quejumbrosa ya que entiendo muy bien que hay días difíciles o muy cargados en los restaurantes y eso es comprensible, pero NADIE de 3 personas nos recibió como comensales, nos sentimos como si estuviéramos obligándolos a servirnos, un "en un momento los atiendo" hubiera sido más que suficiente, pero no... La única sonrisa que obtuve fue al pagar, estoy decepcionada ya que no sentí el calor ni la alegría que caracteriza a los otros restaurantes mexicanos que he probado.

Pero como me gustó mucho la torta de milanesa, lo único que puedo recomendar es que mejor pasen pedido a domicilio para no caer en un mal día y...
