🍔 Savory: The sandwiches and quiches are absolutely amazing. The bread was a perfect match with the toppings (we tried the vegetarian one). The quiche (vegetarian as well) was perfectly juicy and the flavors well balanced.

🧁 Pastries: Any of their choux is a safe bet. They have different flavors such as vanilla, chocolate and the classic "Paris Brest" made with hazelnut cream. I was happily surprised to discover a bit of hazelnut paste inside. But what makes the choux stand out is the craquelin on top, a perfect match with the moist and flaky dough.

🥐 Viennoiseries: The chocolate croissant was a bit disappointing. It was delicious and definitely above the Parisian average, but not up to par with the other items they offer.

🥖 Bread: I didn't try the bread by itself, but it's what made the sandwich so good I can totally imagine it'd be amazing by itself.

🍴 Other: Indoor and outdoor seating tables are convenient. Food is still served with disposable boxes and cutlery, which is a bummer. Staff is very nice and helpful, and offered water. Price is very reasonable considering how it stands out from bakeries around. (8€ per person for full meal). The...

If you don’t see pain du chocolat in the case, don’t just walk away and leave like I saw an American family do. Ask politely if there are any, and it’s possible there are some they haven’t had a chance to display yet.

The giant tarts that look like big quiche are not the big egg filled tarts that Americans normally think of as quiche. Here, they are very big tarts filled with lots of leeks and either veggies, salmon, or ham (three different tarts). Get a slice to go and eat it for lunch (assuming you have access to a microwave or oven)! Or go get a slice at lunchtime and have them heat it for you. It’s delicious! And probably enough for two people.

Vu les prix et l'amabilité de la vendeuse, je n'ai même pas goûté !

Quand nous sommes arrivés, elle était dehors, elle est rentrée juste devant nous mais elle n'a pas dit bonjour, elle ne nous a pas regardé ni ne nous a retenu la porte, rien du tout...

Je ne connaissais pas l'établissement ni ses produits. Il restait encore plusieurs pains différents, j'ai dit que je voudrais prendre deux pains tranchés pour goûter mais que je ne savais pas lesquels. Elle n'a pas fait de suggestion.

Quand j'ai demandé la description d'un premier pain, elle a répondu mais franchement sans enthousiasme. J'imagine que comme c'était écrit en tout petit en dessous, ça l'a agacée que je ne lise pas les pancartes. Personnellement sans mes lunettes, je ne pouvais pas bien distinguer ce qui était écrit et j'estime que la vendeuse est également là pour renseigner le client. Mais bon j'ai plissé les yeux pour tâcher de lire à voix haute l'étiquette du pain d'à côté. J'ai demandé confirmation "C'est bien écrit seigle ?" et elle a expédié "Oui oui c'est ça".

J'ai donc choisi un "pain sportif" et un "pain du cirque" et j'ai demandé qu'il soit tranchés tous les deux. Aucun dialogue avec la vendeuse pendant ce temps, elle ne nous a même pas adressé un regard. Il y avait un autre client derrière nous, j'avais l'impression que nous gênions et qu'il fallait sortir rapidement pour qu'elle puisse le servir.

Au moment de passer à la caisse elle m'a annoncé un prix de 17 €. J'ai complètement halluciné: 17 € pour deux pains tranchés 🤯 ! Je lui ai demandé de répéter et là clairement avec le ton sur lequel elle a répondu, et le regard hautain, elle a signé son agacement. Elle a trouvé utile d'ajouter :" Oui 17 € ! C'est normal, ce sont des prix au kilo et ils sont tous affichés Madame". J'ai dit qu'à ce prix-là j'étais désolée mais je ne les prenais pas, elle les a remballés immédiatement et a dit "ok, au revoir" en nous tournant le dos.

Prix exorbitants et attitude inacceptable quand on est un commerçant, d'autant plus quand on pratique des tarifs aussi élevés ! Même si j'ai largement de quoi payer et que c'est très certainement succulent, la façon dont nous avons été reçus fait que je n'y retournerai absolument jamais et que je ne vais pas en faire une...
