It was pure luck that we stumbled upon Le Petit Commines, however I’m very grateful that we managed to find this hidden gem! The service was great, the Miss (whose name I sadly did not get) was able to help us in English and was extremely lovely, talking about the menu with local ingredients and mentioning a fun quiz for finding the perfect wine. It’s clear that they care for the customers and do whatever possible to send you away with a full belly and fond memories. The food was amazing, gorgeous plates decorated with food in vibrant colors and intriguing ingredients. Incredibly delicious food and we were also served bread and other sides to our meal. We were sat outside, and while we were close to the road, there was this feeling of privacy thanks to the little wall and the plant decorations that hid us from prying eyes. Overall a very unique experience in Paris and definitely worth the pricier meals! Coming back again on the next trip.

I really had high hopes for this restaurant unfortunately I and my party left very disappointed. Perhaps it was an off night. The service was not what one would expect for a restaurant that charges the amount that they do. The server forgot the amuse-bouche and the bread so we had to remind her and of course all of that arrived when the Plat’s arrived. The website has stated that they are focusing on vegetarian options but there was only one option for the vegetarians in our group a gazpacho which was quite tasty, and a Plat which while tasty was barely an appetizer (2 pieces of broccoli and a piece of artichoke heart as a Plat for $$$) the other members of our party were disappointed with the one note of the steak option. Perhaps it tasted better with the sides but those were donated to the vegetarians so they could have something approaching a full meal, we asked for additional bread that never came, and we never saw out a waitress again after the plats we’re cleared so even if we wanted to order a dessert that was not an option.

Should you choose to eat there I would suggest eating inside as the exterior dining is on a busy street that had a garbage trucks coming through fairly regularly. Additionally the choice of having tables with slats so that you must balance your beverages less they spill seems problematic and short sighted.

However, the food was fine to good and they like to present themselves as a future Michelin star restaurant but I do not see that happening soon perhaps in a few years if the restaurant can mature (and lasts that long)

I suppose it’s possible that this was just an off night as sometimes happens in the service industry but they should just abandon or rethink vegetarian options or at the very least research options that provide any sort of carbs our proteins. Our group was 3 Americans and 2 French so perhaps it was an American thing but our French guests were equally disappointed and embarrassed for suggesting this place.

But if you like eating inside, and aren’t a vegetarian (and eat on a less busy night perhaps?) you may absolutely love this restaurant the house cocktail was interesting and the wine suggestion was very good for such...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Le Petit Commines, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The restaurant offers a daily menu, which ensures a fresh and exciting selection of dishes each day.

The quality of the food was nothing short of exceptional. Every dish was prepared with the utmost care and attention to detail, showcasing the highest quality ingredients. The flavors were exquisite, making each bite a delight. It’s clear that the chef puts a lot of passion into the creations.

The ambiance at Le Petit Commines was charming and inviting. The atmosphere was perfect for a relaxed and enjoyable meal, with a touch of elegance that added to the overall experience.

What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional service. The chef and staff were incredibly nice and professional, making us feel welcome and valued throughout our visit. Their knowledge and enthusiasm for the food they were serving enhanced our dining experience.

I highly recommend Le Petit Commines to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience. Whether you're a fan of French cuisine or just appreciate high-quality food and excellent service, this restaurant is...
