Gosier is a diddy spot in the 9th arrondissement with beautiful interior, friendly staff and a menu of small sharing plates that changes every 2 weeks. As I was on my own, I was unsure how the sharing would work but the host made some recommendations and I went with it - delicious asparagus (I'd never had white asparagus before!) and an incredible prawn, squid and artichoke risotto (so deliciously savory and rich). I was only going to have 2 dishes but when I saw chocolate mousse (with peanuts, bananas and extra salt) on the menu, I thought when in Paris. It was EXCELLENT and was also massive (at this point I'd forgotten all the dishes were meant for sharing!) The peanuts were the best I've ever tasted, both salty and sweet 👌 I would recommend you all go here if you're ever in Paris! Read moreI absolutely loved every morsel, detail, enthusiasm and love put into these gorgeous dishes. We did not have a reservation, but Monsieur was more than accommodating to fit a table of 4 in his charming establishment. The concept, with an ever changing seasonal menu and shared plates. His recommendation, if we could manage… try everything. Which we did. And it did not disappoint, every dish was well balanced, well seasoned and had an element of surprise or nostalgia. I particularly loved and took away my interactions with the chefs and their sheer enthusiasm to share the process of which it took to get to the recipes they were creating for us. So much so that for the Guinea Fowl, literally wanted to lick the plate clean.
Thank you so much team Gosier for a wonderful and memorable experience. I cannot wait to see what you come up with next. See...
Read moreVisiting Paris/France is a food event offering many delicious possibilities. We were so happy to have been given a tip from a local Parisian to visit Gosier for dinner before leaving Paris. We weren’t disappointed. We loved its cozy and intimate atmosphere, fabulous and beautifully presented food, wine and service. Every mouthful of our share plates was to be savoured, paired with great bubbles, beer and wine recommendations. The art of enjoying slow dining is something the French have mastered perfectly! Our tragedy was being so full by the end of the main event there was no room for dessert. So I guess that means we’ll need to plan another trip to Paris! P.S. We also loved the front of house kitchen, which meant seeing the love and attention the Gosier team put into prep and plating up of every meal served. 👏 👏 👏. Thanks for an epic...
