Pho 29 — Restaurant in Paris

My two teenagers, my wife, and I stayed in Paris August 2023, right down the street from here. We love vietnamese food and put this restaurant on our list of places to go out to dinner while we were there. The food was great, the service was very attentive, price was on point, but the memory is priceless.

We got there a little early and I remember we were the only ones in the restaurant. When we got our food I went to shake the Sriracha bottle and didn't notice it was open and it flew everywhere, we all laughed so hard! We still bring up that memory every time we see a bottle of Sriracha 🤣. Of course, we cleaned it up super fast, and no one at the establishment noticed.

We had a great time and is one of the stand out memories of our trip...

Food was cooked well and was nice to eat, fresh and well presented with big portions for each main. The beef noodle soup broth was amazing and I’d say one of the best I have tasted.

Service was decently timely with about a 10-20 minute wait for food, and the staff were extremely lovely.

The atmosphere was also quite nice, with our only hitch being the lack of strong air-con, which is a small in comparison to the food itself. We were looking for something comfortable and not ritz and glitz and this ticked that box.

10/10 rating, great food, definitely worth checking out by yourself or with friends or family. Decently priced. Really great to feel full for an evening walk...

I can’t say about the service or atmosphere- I was on my period craving a warm hug of a meal, when I sent my husband to do a pick up.

So yes- you can just go and take a meal away, it’s packed in plastic which is a grand shame but let us hope that love is stronger than microplastics.. 🤧

it is gluten free- wonderful for celiac. The pho was INCREDIBLE, aromatic and warm, not too heavy on the cinnamon or anise, just absolutely perfect, with herbs and some sweetness. It doesn’t come with a lot of meat which is good for me but I assume for a man it’s a problem, it had hardly 90 grams of meat.
