Hélia — Restaurant in Paris

We've spent a week eating eating eating everything in Paris. This spot had the most polite and attentive staff and we felt so taken care of as US tourists. It was a nice change of pace toward the end of our journey. The staff joked with us, talking about having the best Turkish food in Paris, compared to our beloved Barcelona spots. I now believe him. I'm sorry Spain, but I really do. The food just hit on every level. Believe me when I say, our meal, our sides, with a bottle of wine, made for an incredible experience. We tried the cod egg lemon olive oil (I belive it is called tarama, and it was insane btw), stuffed eggplant, the amazing lamb kebab on a bed of yogurt sauce, they were all phenomenal. Truly amazing- best value for money in entire Paris ... Went there as very close to "how to become a parisien" theater basically "next door". This is exactly the place where you want to be, combining the best of all worlds, it's an amazing atmosphere, you can sit half/fully outside, watching people on the street but nevertheless, you can be fast if you want and if you're in a hurry (we've been late, we let the waiter know, he accommodated it and we've been done with dinner in 20min) stunningly perfect and amazing English-speaking staff. Full recommendation, we might just go here in four days twice because it's good food, great atmosphere and -- other than most of the restaurants in Paris -- very fairly...

J'ai organisé une soirée au Restaurant Hélia Grands Boulevards ce Lundi 2 Décembre 2024. Le patron m'a gentiment proposé de me privatiser son premier étage pour la 30aine de personnes que nous étions. Nous avons été remarquablement reçus, tant sur le plan de l'accueil justement, que de la qualité du repas, des entrées (mezze délicieux et variés) plats de Grillades très bien cuisinées et goûteuses, servies sur de très beaux plats en cuivres (comme les mezze d'ailleurs), accompagnées d'un très bon vin de Bordeaux (sur classé généreusement) sans oublié, justement les accompagnements de riz( excellent), de purée maison, de haricots (il est rare qu'ils soient bons au restaurant mais là ils étaient top!), de pomme de terre frites ou de boulghour. Les desserts aussi étaient délicieux. Le service irréprochable, très souriant et dynamique. J'avais souhaité offrir du champagne à mes convives pour l'apéritif et il nous a été offert de très jolis canapés pour le déguster avec. C'était vraiment très gentil de la part du restaurateur que je remercie à nouveau. Le cadre est vraiment très agréable, et j'ai pu mettre ma playlist connectée sur leur installation sonore, toute la soirée. Et pour finir, il nous a été offert un petit digestif. TOUS mes convives ont été ravis et me l'ont bien écrit le lendemain. C'était une soirée très réussie et j'en remercie encore Ferhat qui dirige ce chouette...
