I don't recommend this agency, especially for my colleagues "Diplomats or Officials for IO". They have a main problem, "Communication", if you call never get an answer, if you text, never get a reply... I have a bad experience with Mrs. Eloïse, first, she won't let me add just 15mn - 30mn to my rendez-vous for the visit, that coincides, unfortunately, with an emergency from the bank, she let me wait from Monday to Friday. the visit wasn't very pleasant, or she had already made her decision "by herself", she was speaking with no professional, then she gave a promise to let me know the owner' answer, but nothing, I was waiting only for this appartement because it is so close to my work, until I called her Tuesday, of course no answer all the day... I really don't recommend, you never get a reply, no professional work, no good advice or even no good communication with clients. as an advice for this agency: you have two clients to work with, the owner and the lessee, you should work for both sides, and try to focus on the second, because you will work for the next year/years, and don't give a way that you are the only agency in Paris, please... it is Paris. "still my review for this...
Read moreI spent several months trying to rent an apartment in Paris with incredibly frustrating results. Even though I am relatively fluent in French it seemed as though agencies and prospective owners simply did not want to deal with an American tenant given the particularities of French law. Then I met Christophe at Eiffel Housing. First, he had the ideal apartment. And was immediately available to show it to me. I quickly understand that he not only spoke my language, but he intrisically understood what an American client needs. Moreover, he WANTED and VALUED foreign clients like me!! To him I wasn’t a liability, I was an asset. Everything he promised he delivered on. He didn’t only represent the owners, he looked after my interest. And when the deal was completed (amazingly in a matter of days, and electronically) he continued to facilitate our move in going far beyond the call of duty coordinating matters that would have been rather complex and overwhelming for an expat. In addition, I was going to write he was the nicest brokers I have ever met. But the truth is he is one of the nicest people...
Read moreTwo stars because I was able to see the apartment - which was in subpar condition with paint peeling and a broken window. When I asked when the apartment would be ready to rent the agent said immediately. There was no mention that anything would be repainted or repaired. As other recent reviewers suggested, seems that the agent had already made her own decision based on her attitude during the showing (disinterested and completely cold). We had to follow up every small step. Seemed that we were being strung along leaving us with the impression that we were not candidates to begin with and a waste of time. If you’re local good luck. If you’re an expat - do not bother with this agency. So many other agencies in Paris that do not leave a bad taste in your mouth, look elsewhere and without a doubt you’ll find more professional, serious agents to work with. I’m surprised by the high rating, but maybe it really depends on the agent you’re...
