L'étincelle — Restaurant in Paris

A café where you sit side by side with the ordinary Parisian. Very french atmosphere down to the cat that inhabits the cafe. Our waitress spoke english and service was efficient. We ordered 2 omelettes and 2 breakfasts consisting of tartinis (bread, jam and butter), coffee and fresh orange juice. Total price was a whopping 32€. Way too expensive but on par with most...

The food was fine but the service was the worst we’ve had in Paris: waiter missed parts of the order for our children… we had to physically seek him out in the restaurant to return to the table an hour after the first course was served. After “2 more minutes” 20 minutes later…Water sat empty/not refilled; plates not cleared....

I passed by this place and liked the looks of it and the crowd that was here. I came back after midnight and it did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and the drinks were good and fair priced. It was nice for me to kick my feet up, wind down from the day, and reflect. I will come back for more late night winding...
